  1. I remember you! Free Ballin!! Great job being in charge of the mic during the crew chat :)

Yes! It was all downhill from there. Chester urging me to sing. Rob and Phoenix asking why I wasn't in a band. World-famous musicians complimenting your talents = peak of life unless I can somehow make it for my music myself.

  2. OH COME ON.

    When I say a bit, I mean A BIT. Not a lot.

I just posted it to the thread on LPA, but here it is for you guys.

    TINFOIL

    Faint (Ext. Outro)

    Papercut

Given Up (Ext. Outro w/ Extra Note)

With You (Ext. 2012 Intro; 2012 Scratch Outro)

    Somewhere I Belong (2012 Intro)

    IN MY REMAINS

    New Divide

    VICTIMIZED (w/ QWERTY)

    Points Of Authority

    LIES GREED MISERY

Waiting For The End (Apaches Intro; Ext. Outro)

    Breaking The Habit

    LOATR/SOTD/Iridescent (Ballad Medley)

    The Catalyst

LOST IN THE ECHO (2012 Intro)

    Numb

    What I've Done

    One Step Closer (Ext. Outro)

    ----------------------------------------------------

    BURN IT DOWN

    In The End

Bleed It Out (Ext. Intro; Ext. Bridge w/ 'Sabotage'; Ext. Outro)

    Show Notes:

    - Mike rapped a verse from 'Until It Breaks' over the intro to 'Waiting For The End'.

    - 'Bleed It Out' featured the Beastie Boys' 'Sabotage' bridge.

    - Mike's guitar malfunctioned at some point between the end of the intro to the first chorus of What I've Done. Brad was the only one playing guitar for the entire song not counting the intro. Mike attempted to make up for it by playing his usual chords on the keyboard.

    - Lying From You was dropped from the set and replaced by IN MY REMAINS.

    EDIT: Had PoA incorrectly placed.

  3. ok . sorry, the thing is I just want to hear that older version,I'm not from one of those who say old & new Linkin park bla bla bla.I love'em live, when you spend $9 on a dsp, you've the right to speak :)

Because someone complaining about a recording of a concert is justified.

Want to hear Faint with the "faster" outro? Get another DSP.

When you spend $120 on a concert ticket, you've the right to speak. Until then, there are plenty of recordings of the "other" Faint outro.

  4. Back to topic, the news about LP being SECOND was, as I called it, false as the official numbers weren't out yet. And now the numbers are in and they are #1.

Off-topic, I'm not a mod or an admin on either site. I'm just calling it as it is.

  5. Link or STFU

The argument in question that he initiated was deleted by mods due to not wanting to start crap. In this case, he came to the Hot Topic contest thread only to say 'Oh we were approached for this contest too but we didn't accept' and then caused further heat. But the post afterwards where he tries to start more shit again remain intact.

For those of you who don't want to click the link:

Gotta love companies going out of their way to do that for fansites especially.

Did Vecel do that? Or SURU? Or did you have to contact them?

The fact that we deleted all of the posts about that earlier today should've been a hint that we don't want the subject discussed any further.

  6. I guess the staff fell asleep at their desks (lol)

Are you sure about that ?

No, Hahninator was too busy talking shit on the LPA forums for him to post the news.

Like that Japanese Deluxe Edition of the album which he still hasn't posted on the news page. Because you know, a WBR record exec leaving is more important to an LP fansite than a new edition of the CD that comes with a LP-themed Gundam, LP-themed art, and The Catalyst being featured on Gundam's latest video game.

And then of course there's also the fact that LP hasn't lost to Trey Songz YET, as Billboard's official information has yet to be posted. In fact, experts predict they'll take the #1 spot.

  7. If you listen to the full recording of the Kevin and Bean Breakfast With Linkin Park performance, at one point during the Q&A, Mike starts talking through the microphone with the vocal effects for The Requiem to show how they can make him sound like a little girl. Even though he's just talking, you can tell that it sounds nothing like the studio version, in fact, it sounds pretty terrible. My guess is that they tried doing it live during rehearsals, and they weren't happy with how it sounded so they decided to have him lip-sync, at least until they come up with a better solution.

For what it's worth, the "ooh" parts before the robot girl stuff sound different than the studio version though, so it could actually be live for all I know. I don't hear "as" in there like some people are hearing either though, sounds just like the album version to me.

To be fair though, he probably wasn't prepared with the correct synth patches and various effects for The Requiem at that show, since they never planned on playing it there in the first place. It was probably the patch he had set it to before, which was probably the patch for The Catalyst.

  8. Yup I'm saying myth busted. He clearly says "as" and it does seem to be about a half step higher than the album version.

I don't see how it even became a 'myth.' It was just kind of really dumb unwarranted speculation with no basis other than 'it sounds the same', despite being in a different key and having different words and being a vocoder'd part which is pretty easy to emulate since the pitch is controlled externally, to be honest.
