OMG LULZ
LPA is down already - I must say I'm impressed with LPL's staying power!
anyway, I WILL NOT LISTEN untill I get my CD when it comes out on monday
I hope everyone who listens enjoys ATS emensley!
Well, say something when LPL hits over 4000 people on the forum at the same time.
Anyways, I love all the hip-hop references in When They Come For Me.
-
and I'm stuck in class on a network that watches for File sharing sites
fuuuuuuuuuuuuu.....
I'm at a corporate workplace. You'll find a way. I did.
Note though: I bought the Deluxe Fan Edition. So I've paid my dues to LP. On that note, woo!

Apparently it's not down. Their forums are just completely full. Because I see people replying to the threads in there.

Oh yeah, I completely forgot that Reanimation is a remix album of Hybrid Theory. It also has remixes of two b-sides and 6 short interludes that don't really justify as a song to me. I guess it's your own personal opinion though, but bottom line is that Reanimation is a remix album.
Well I will go so far as to venture that 2 of the instrumentals count as songs, 3 spoke word interludes that don't count as songs, which brings you to 17. I'd really like to know what that 6th interlude you're speaking of is.
And yes, Reanimation is a studio album, albeit a remix album. Not many people can say a remix album is better than a studio album *coughMETEORAcough*
So yeah, I count it as an album. Since you know, your post didn't say STUDIO album.
EDIT: Also, 12 tracks on the album? I love it. I love short and sweet albums, and LP always have 12 songs on their album, even if you count Meteora since Foreword really isn't a 'song'.
So STFU and either take back what you said or be more specific with your wording.

Oh yeah, I completely forgot that Reanimation was only 12 songs. /sarcasm
-
It's good - but I do like it.
I can sort of see a distorted sun look with solar flares....
WELL HELLO!
Way to take credit for Keaton's work, btw.
-
Sarcasm/irony and the internet....it never worked
I wasn't being sarcastic or ironic. I was dead serious. And look, I was right.
-
This is holding up the new album
Silly rabbit. The new album is already done.
And may God slap me in the face with a large trout if I am wrong.

Can't Mike wear the same clothes more than one day? lol
Edit: Adam is posting
If he did that, um... gross. Especially since that means he wore them last Tuesday, the day after, and a week later. Bad habits.
And note how Adam never said WHEN he posted the video.
I tend to think that LP are more likely to pull a clever ploy than to have bad hygiene.
EDIT: And it turns out I was right. Haha
-
They're pulling a clever trick on us... notice how all three instances that we see Mike 'today in the studio' he's wearing the EXACT SAME THING?

These are all from the same day, just posted apart. The album is done, they're just acting like it's not done to pull a fast one.

To be fair, twitter WAS down for quite a while. And now he's probably sleeping. Quit the bitching.
-
yes i was front row behind the pit, I have to agree the sound quality for the DBS set was a little off compared to papa roach and breaking benjamin and flyleaf
Nice! If you saw an asian guy wearing a blue button up wrecking in the pit, that was me. Also during the wall of death.
-
I can confirm the setlist, along with the mic problems. I was about 2 people from the front of the pit.
Actually, the sound in general was pretty bad for DBS' set. The bands that played afterward had a wall of sound going on. DBS... not a whisper, but it was definitely like casual conversation volume-wise.

Let them win, at least we believe in Fair Play ^^
We believe in a lot of things, but you don't actually commit.
Astat and I have seen the cheating happen. LP fans are not immune; we are not angels. So get off your high horse and lay off.
-
#1 Past is the past. Forget it. It's been YEARS. 6 -7 years
This happened in 2004. It is 2009. 2009 - 2004 = 5 years. Math fail.
-
Oh really? I will ask why Paramore fans are using cheats while Linkin Park fans just stay put as normal people. Papercut not really a good song, okay. I'll accept that since Fergie's wtfs-the-name-of-the-song is famous in my country.
I will be the first to say that LP fans have been cheating their way to LP awards since Meteora. I should know as I participated in helping do so back in 2004 or so. Don't think that LP fans are all perfect angels, because WE'VE DONE IT TOO. I'VE SEEN IT HAPPEN.
Don't compare BANDS, EVEN THEIR PRODUCTIONS. Their productions varies and no comparisons can be made fairly. If you're not comparing, I'll refer to linkin_boss. 'Let's have a riot' blah. I hate to keep on publishing the meaning behind every LP music video and songs. People won't understand at all.
You're telling ME to not make comparisons, yet you don't get on about linkin_boss comparing Paramore to the Beatles. Double standard?
-
QUOTE: "I think Ignorance is much better than New devide"
Ignorance never got any #1 on billboards. Epic Fail.
Being #1 on Billboards doesn't mean the song is good. London Bridge by Fergie was a #1 hit, and Papercut was not. I guess that means London Bridge is a better song.
Epic fail on your end, buddy.
are you serious?... even yellow submarine from the beatles has a better video ... anyone can get a dark room with a lamp whats the great deal with that video?
And I quote, "The video shows Williams being singled out and ignored by the other members of the band. She shines a light bulb directly in their faces, whilst describing how they ignore her and treat her like just another stranger in the lyrics. The cramped and bare setting emphasizes the inescapable, rising tensions between the band members."
Which is a pretty deep concept compared to LP's 'let's have a flying whale', 'let's have a riot', 'hey let's have a riot AGAIN', and 'look at me, I'm in space' music video concepts.
-
Okay, I have to post here because a lot of the posts I've been seeing in this thread are really ignorant and offensive.
The votes of the FANS OF PARAMORE should not be an indication of THE BAND ITSELF. In all honesty I truly believe that Paramore had a better video than LP this year. In addition to that, their CD this year is pretty damn good, also one of the best of 2009.
Sure they're a young band, but with each one they grow and get better. All the members are very down to earth (youtube Hayley Williams' 'cribz' episode, it shows how perfectly normal she is. She lives in an apartment and spends her time playing Left4Dead) and really humble. Because THAT'S the sign of a commercial band.
To the guy who said that Paramore will always be known as the Twilight band, that's only because you heard them through Twilight. Going by that reasoning, MUSE should be considered the Twilight band since they are featured on both the Twilight soundtrack AND the New Moon soundtrack. But I don't see you badmouthing THEM.
Lastly, I find it offensive and ironic that someone with the username Ladygaga is using the term faggot to label people in a derogatory manner. Not only is it offensive to the LGBT community (OF WHICH LADYGAGA IS A PART OF, HENCE THE IRONY), but it brings down the expectations people have towards your intelligence.
All in all, it's just a stupid award. Stop QQing and get on with life. To be fair, LP fans have done their share of cheating in the past, too. I've been around to see it, and if you're going to cry about how other bands have fans devoted enough to do such a thing, maybe you should look at LP's fans as well. Your responses in general seem to prove that LP has the same kind of fans as Paramore in terms of quality.

Everyone going to this show... we should totally meet up!
-
I'm going to the show in Grand Prairie. I live so close to there that I could throw a rock at it. Will report with setlist as well.
-
Totally agree. Person shouldn't have been so silly, lol.
It's not new school. It's a good show, that's all I'll say
A lot of the guessers here need to read this post. Over. And. Over.
-
It's only 2:48 Eastern.
For some reason LP's site reads 1:45 Central as 3:45 Eastern. I.E. the site ends the countdown at 1:45 Central, oddly enough.
-
EDIT: World time on computer is fucked. Please move on.
-
We've already figured that with the vocal clips we've heard, the lyrics page on the vid are either dated or completely false. LP were pretty smart about this.I think it's not a place to play wild guesses. Just wait for the song (or try to figure out whats on the lyrics page in the vid:P)
