Chester did the "heey"- thing again on ALITS. It's just not working when they're filming the other guys for the big screen so they can't see when chester is swinging his hands. Only people in front see it.

For a new ballad medley i'd definately add Roads Untravelled last, i think the ending is pretty a strong. Or TLTGYA.

I've been saying forever that they should drop New Divide because it's not an album song.

Why should it matter if the song is on an album or not? New Divide is one of the most popular LP songs ever.

Anyone found a crowd recording of ALITS from rock in rio?

Wow, this is the first time that I think a song played by LP sounds better than the studio version. Back in 2001, when they played concerts like "Docklands Arena 2001", they played the songs like on the album, perfect for me.

 

But, I always thought that Chester sounds in ALITS so weak that I already saw myself skipping this song. I don't know why he is so weak and silent compared to so many other songs. But the life performance was awesome. Its sad that we already know now that this song has no chance to be kept in future sets after the THP-tour

In studio version the instruments are mixed louder than chesters vocals during the chorus, not because chester is singing weak. And i agree it sounds better live.

Jumping in once again and saying that I want to see ALITS performed. I'm not sure how it will transfer live in every aspect, but it should work relatively well. Chester's singing isn't really that difficult, he might just give a different type of scream. I have faith in Brad, Mike, and Rob for their performances on this.

Overwhelming majority wants them to play ALITS and they know it. If they don't play it they are being ignorant and lazy.

I'd be dissapinted if it's 'All for nothing' because the song is so simple and i can already see the performance in my head. Reminds me of lies greed misery. I'd really love to hear Chester singing Keys to the kingdom live or seeing how badass ALITS would be live.

 

I re watched that part and a little bit before Dean grabs the mic, you can hear someone chanting "You're not Scott!" over and over. That's probably what that was about.
