As long as the band wants it to be.

As much as I would love an LPU album full of B-sides, I think a few acoustic versions of their songs would be just as incredible.
Compromise.
Acoustic WITH B-Sides, a mixture!
How about Breaking the Habit? They haven't included that on an LPU CD for the last couple of years.
Breaking the Habit Piano Acoustic?
And they did. The demo on LPU9.

No quote tags in the Newswire please mkay?
Sorry. I'll refrain from that in the future. ^^

Yeah Im pretty pumped as always.
I dunno about you guys but for something different besides B sides and shit which everyone wants, I was thinking of maybe an AOL session type of deal where Its a live studio performance of a handful of songs with the extended intros and outros and shit. Just go listen to the AOL songs and Third Encore songs and listen to how kick ass they sound.
Eh, I'd prefer something completely new. Save the extended intros and outro's for the concerts, and DSP's. Keep the demos and b-sides for LPU!
Of course, they could always have that as a bonus feature. I'd love a studio version of the No More Sorrow extended intro.

From an LP email:
LPU11 COMING SOON
We're getting questions coming in about LPU11 and your LPUX memberships that are close to expiring. To clear up any confusion, here's what you need to know:
1. Your LPUX membership is NOT expired yet. If you joined LPUX from August through mid-November of 2010, your membership officially started when we launched LPUX in November 2010 around the North American tour pre-sale.
2. Please wait until we launch LPU11 to "renew" your LPU membership. If you are currently an LPUX member and you purchase another LPU membership BEFORE we launch LPU11, that will not count towards an LPU11 membership.
3. LPU11 is coming soon. Very soon. Get excited.

He whips his hair back and forth.

I'm hoping for more demos, honestly. New content is usually the best kind, even if it is "Old".
-
and also nu metal is not dead
You don't start sentences with "And", buddy.
And wanting Nu Metal back is like kicking a dead horse. It's dead. You don't need to make everyone else suffer by having to watch you kick it. Even then, you're making the retired families of the horse suffer, and tarnishing it's legacy. Think of the children!

All of them. But, if I have to choose, then in no particular order.... ((Why, god, why!))
In Pieces

Iridescent

What We Don't Know

Whenever I hear someone say the words "Nu Metal" anymore, I die a little inside. Because people can't just get the fuck over it.

Announcement Service Public, Qwerty, Pale, Fear, Drum Song, No Roads Left, Across The Line, Blackbirds, What We Don't Know, and Pretend To Be and Not Alone were re-worked MTM songs. I want to hear some of the heavy songs that Chester talked about that were made for MTM.
Pretend To Be was post-MTM I do believe.

Either way Im pretty sure it comes under the official material rule here so even if it does exist it cant be shared on these forums.
You sure? The mix is rather different form the final version, it feels a lot more raw and unmixed, and that's one of it's charms. It's not available elsewhere officially, so it's more like a 'demo' of sorts, just a very late one. The only place it's in is the game, and i'm pretty sure this specific mix probably wouldn't fall under "official material" any more than the "Hybrid Theory unmixed masters" record released earlier did. *Shrug*
For those who havent' heard; 7:25 in
vid.Notable differences:
-The second set of Mr. Hahn's scratching @ 8:40? It kinda feels different from the finished version.
-More raw vocals, with less effects applied.
-Different track levels, having been mixed differently
-You can hear a lot more backing vocals in the song's climax
-When Mike finishes singing at the end you can hear a lot of reverb as it fades out, unlike in the normal version
-
I kinda agree. It feels a lot different than the official version in terms of mixing, and i kinda like it. I wish there was a 320kbps download version ^-^;

02 - Bass
03 - Guitar
04 - Vocals

Gah... I've been looking for The Catalyst multitracks everywhere T.T
Such a shame too... I really wanna hear it! Ah well. ((The only reason I justify having these multitracks for myself is that I have all the main albums ))
My current list of multitracks that i have in possession ((Most already stated)):
In The End,
Burning In The Skies,
What I've Done,
No More Sorrow,
Waiting For The End,
Numb,
Somewhere I Belong,
Given Up,
One Step Closer,
Crawling,
And finally, Wretches and Kings

It'd probably not be, seeing as LPU11 has nothing to do with MFR. Maybe a new Download to Donate.
