  1. I think the album will not be out before the tour... Maybe they'll promote one or two songs of the album as merchandising tatics.

Trust me, you don't book the Lanxess Arena in Cologne with 20'000 seats without a new album ;-) For show cases with 1-2 new songs they would book a hall for maybe 3000 fans, just like the show in Berlin in 2007 or the Webster Hall show ;-)

  2. Still trying to figure out if this is an existing Roots song or not.

Roots jam sessions are jazz orientated concerts which means almost everything is improvisation. In my opinion this song is an inprovisaton too because I'm a huge Roots fan and I know all their realeased material (even the albums from the early 90's) but I've never heard this song before.

BTW: Mike's flow isn't that good, looks like he's not used to this rhythm.

  3. Across The Line: To be honest, I don't get everyone saying how this didn't end up on MTM. It takes 2mins for anything of any merit to happen then kinda dies out from there. Not really a winner for me.

I don't like that song too. The programming is just disastrous and doesn't really fit to the vocal melody. The only interesting things are the bass line and the rhythm change at the end of the song. I'm kinda shocked that people are asking why ATL was not on the album

im not sure if this has already been said, but in between is much better than across the line

For sure. There's a world of difference between those songs!

  4. Across the Line because i havent heard it before and Breaking The Habit because i'm hoping to hear more strings on it, but i'm sure all the songs will get enough of play time except drum song i guess

Don't expect too much from the string parts in ANY song! The demos won't have live strings, only keyboard and MPC tunes. That means everything will sound a bit less "organic" than in the final versions ;-)

BTW I'm waiting for "across the line" and "drawings" ;-)

  5. We can give any donaters a nice user title and color on the forum so they can be noted as a donater. We can also have different donater ranks, just like we do on the forum with users and post counts. When there is a donater, they can be in a totally different rank group and the more they donate, the higher up the ranks they get.

Maybe we can think of something that these ranks would be good for. We can have a hidden board exclusively for these people who donate and maybe we can provide some extra content of some sort to this group of people.

ADDED: Would be a good idea to have direct downloads provided to those who have donated to the site, and other users can download through torrents and rapidshares.

I think it's dangerous for the community to have direct links/extra content as a motivation to get donations. There's the risc to create a "2 class" fan community.
  6. What do you mean by "Joe played "Superman""? :)

    more pictures here!

and could you describe the tshirts?????

or do you have photos of them??????

or a link for me with them^^

Just check the LP online store ;-)

Show was kinda weak. New Divide was totally fucked up and I think Mike was so shaken up about it that he fucked Faint up too. The venue had sound restrictions and so the show was pretty quiet compared to Graz.

That's strange. I was really impressed by the energy and the drum mix in New Divide. What was wrong with it?
  7. The show is over and it was just sick ! Best LP show I've seen until today ;-) the Band really enjoyed the evening, they almost didn't want to leave the stage :-p

    Joe played "Superman"...

Setlist was the same as in Graz but just perfekt.

The LPlive.net meeting was cool too... Looking forward to the group picture :-)

and it looks like I'm the only one who has the DSB...

  9. If anyone from LPLive is going to this show and would like to meet [AndOne] and I, we will be having an LPLive 'Meet And Greet' AFTER the show. Simply come to the box office after the show and wait. We will have a sign that we will hang on the wall that will say 'LPLIVE.NET MEETING SPOT'. Be patient, it might take us 10-20 minutes after the show to get there. Hopefully we can say hey to some of you!

Good idea, I'll try to be there ;-)
