  1. and the audio on streaming with a CD boxset pretty please!!
  2. Please, give me a date in Washington state! I’d hope they would at least book the cities that got canceled dates back in 2017.
  3. I think regardless, if it’s reworked cut songs or brand new songs, adding more songs to From Zero for a deluxe edition just seems weird after working hard so cut it down to what it is. And the importance that Mike put upon that shorter run time as a sign of maturity as an artist. I think some kind of EP, or a full album or something for the LPU is more likely. Again no one knows anything for sure, but I got the feeling from the Mike and Emily podcast is that they liked a lot of songs that in the process that didn’t make the album. And now maybe they want to do something with that. Which make sense since they have been kicking around ideas for 7 years. Seems very reasonable they were always going to have at least two albums worth of ideas. I think the question is what they are going to do with it. LP9, stand alone singles, an EP or string the stuff out over LPU CDs for the next few years. I personally lean toward the album because of the heap of stuff they probably have, plus teasing someone like deluxe edition before from zero is even out yet seems weird. I think a “guess what From Zero is the first of 2 albums and the next is out next year” announcement at some point after From Zero drops would make the most sense. This might just be me trying to manifest my hopes though. Haha
  4. I really don’t like deluxe editions. And LP has never really done them. I like the hand crafted album experience. Mike talked about how hard it was to cut down to the songs that are on From Zero. Seems silly to put everything else back on there after the fact of cutting it down. If you have enough songs for another album just put out another album. Many bands have put out albums a year apart or less. Don’t see why LP can’t do that too.
  5. I like the song a lot. It’s slower one, but still plenty of guitar in the mix, which is something you don’t get much on more pop focused songs like this anymore. Love the”screamy pants” tease at the end that you know is gonna lead into Casualty .
  6. Yup. Just drove there and took a selfie with it lol.
  7. Yeah, I know, I meant do they keep the billboard up after they have been found? Would just be kinda fun to see it in person and take my own picture as a keepsake. lol
  8. woah. that's actually really near me. is it still up?!! I could get there in like 30 mins. EDIT: please also mean they going to play a show in WA in 2025. A show at the Tacoma Dome would make me so happy.
  9. Yeah, I was told they could no longer help. As for discogs, they have an entry for the corrected CD, but a copy has never been sold through the page. https://www.discogs.com/release/18426358-Linkin-Park-LPU-Rarities The normal 20th boxset discogs page just list the 2020 original cut off runtumes, so I honestly don't think there is a sold boxset out there with the fixed disc, else discogs would have a page for it, unless someone knows otherwise. Unless the boxset gets around production run down the line we are probably out of luck.
  10. My understanding is that it’s going to go through their whole career, I’m not sure how much will be new info. But I feel like the later half is going to be the most interesting as those years just don’t seem talked about as much as the well documented “how the band got together” bits. I found the first chapter to be a good read and well written, even if it didn’t have a ton of new info.
  11. Its on Kindle as well. Amazon has a sample of the first part of the book to read for free right now. I really enjoyed what I read and have it on pre-order now.
  12. I honestly wonder if we could get another album in 2025. Mike said on Discord it was hard to "cut down" to the tracks on From Zero, so that's probably a good 3-4 songs finished left aside, plus these new songs Colin brought up on the stream that have not been finished. Its been 7 years, would make make sense for them to have wrote more stuff then could fit one album, and they cut From Zero down to stuff that fit, "The old school return of Linkin Park" type album. would explain its short run time. Then, the more experimental stuff could be for a second album next year. Linkin Park has not really done EPs outside of OG Hybrid Theory ep and the LPU stuff, or big double dip expanded editions, so to me a second new album makes the most sense. Two albums as part of the same creative sessions, ala System of a Down's Memorized and Hypnotized. Hope I'm right!
  13. Ugh. Just found out about this. Didn’t realize they printed any fixed discs at all. Emailed both the address here just in case. does anyone know if these new CDs are included in newer shipments of the box set? I’d buy another one to get the fixed disc if I knew it was in it.
  14. Thank you! Will looking forward to getting the items then! So happy to finally be apart of LPU. Ban a fan since One Step Closer first hit radio, but never really could afford it until the last few years when the band was inactive.
  15. Hello, signed up just to ask this question. First time joining LPU, so unsure how it works. I bought the $75 membership. Here is my question, does buying this give me membership bundle items (pin lanyard ect) and the zine gift shipped to me without anything further on my part? I see both the items on the store, so I'm a little confused as to why. Do I just now have the rights to buy these items now. $75 seems kind of steep if I have to buy these items on top of the membership.
