Awesome!!! Hope we get some good footage, I really wanted to go to this one too, but couldn't swing it.

I wound up taking everything and putting into one video: 0:00 Grandson (Opening Band) 0:44 LP Countdown / Vanessa Carlton (lol) :55 LP Intro / Somewhere I Belong 3:54 Cut The Bridge (1st time performing live) 5:26 The Catalyst 6:18 Up From The Bottom 7:43 Two Faced (Breakdown) 8:32 Mike Solo (When They Come For Me / Remember The Name) 9:26 Given Up 10:35 Given Up (Scream / Breakdown) 11:26 Lost 13:00 Good Things Go (1st min from GF's phone) 15:55 Overflow (Complete) 19:07 Johnny Cash Beat (Numb/Encore intro/riff) 19:48 Bleed It Out (A Place For My Head Breakdown)

So last night there was a very funny moment, I got part of it but not all of it, they let a rando in the audience pick the type of beat Colin would play for the numb/encore song and they chose "Guy in the green hat" (showed him on the screen too lol) and he picked Johnny Cash, so they did a country-style beat intro to numb/encore and you could tell they were struggling and Mike was cracking up it was hilarious, he was like "Okay that's enough of that" Here's what I got of it, my comment sets up the context for what happened right before and what led to this lol. I love that you can hear Mike laugh and I zoomed in as much as I could, you can see him cracking up and struggling to play. Was pretty great - love moments like that with the band. I also included all the other good clips I took last night. They're unlisted right now but you can share or whatever 90sec of Cut The Bridge: 90sec of Up From The Bottom : Overflow (complete, looks like this one is blocked in certain territories by WB): 1min of Mike Solo (WTCFM / RTN) : 90sec of Lost: Two Faced (Breakdown): 1min of The Catalyst: Bleed It Out (APFMH Breakdown):

She nailed the HITC full scream after performing both Given Up and Good Things Go - so fucking wild. I'm going through my clips now, here's two more

Yeah! ALEX LASER CAGE is prob my fav thing about that setlist. I feel like that should be his alter ego name
-
Tulsa set list thanks to a nice security guard giving it to my son! Had a great time

Anyone going to Tulsa tonight, I'm bringing a few of my old Meteora Street Team stickers to give away while they last. I'll be the 6'4" guy with glasses wearing my Chester shirt (in the pic). LPU seated section front row! So come ask for one!

Hard to say and also hard to compare. Music bidnezz a lot harder than it used to be. They made so much money in early '00s, and don't forget that the only 21st century album that's sold a lot more copies than Hybrid Theory is Adele's most successful album! Anyway, everything's more expensive now, and anyone you interface with in the industry wants larger cuts now, including the venues wanting more of the band merch cut etc...

I got my newsletter code in an email this morning around 5am EST so you should've already received it. They are unique just like the LPU codes

Scored front row in the LPU seated section at the Tulsa show! Taking gf and our 11 year old and he's pumped. First time I saw them was in 2000 when I was 15, but at a much smaller venue haha!

IMO if they are going through the trouble of putting it into theaters, the quality is going to be amazing. I bet they'd do at least a Bluray physical release because they've always been fans of physical media. Release it and either offer to buy in the store or bundle it with some other live/premium package item or something.

Will be going to the Tulsa show! Maybe KC too...

Got a beanie and zipper world tour hoodie for myself, gasman OG long sleeve for gf, and the the little LPU set, gonna give the lanyard to my son to put his school ID on like a playa do.

Yep song is undeniably great. Video is meh (sorry never been a LoL fan), would much rather just have a legit video of their own, but I get the whole cross promotional thing - LoL is huge with a massive audience, so I can't blame them. It's like being upset at NIN/Eminem for doing edited Fortnite stuff. It's like, this is how it happens now. Having said that, it's not that out of place for them. It reminds me of when early internet ppl would take their favorite clips of anime and use LP songs as the soundtrack. I remember LP being one of the first artists ppl all over the planet were doing this with in the early 2000's even before youtube.

I love love love the new music, Emily, and EVERYTHING. After giving myself many days to digest all of this, I am OBSESSED and so happy. Before this, I couldn't imagine LP without Chester. I know it's because of our past - I can still see them behind the club venue unloading their own gear in my head. I admit I was not familiar with Dead Sara or Emily before this, and I have to say I'm blown away. I PERSONALLY am in early-to-mid-2000's heaven listening to her singing with the boys. She is an extremely capable singer, and we need to keep in mind one of the things she is doing is the hardest thing ever: Singing LP songs without sounding like Karaoke. She's making it her own, adding another layer to the old and helping Mike open the door to the new. I'M READY. Anyway, just wanted to stop in and sing their praises.

Really want to make it to the Dallas show, as it will be almost a quarter of a century since I saw them in Dallas last hahaha
-
Hell yeah, thanks for letting us know! Need to pick this up.

That's awesome! Looks like it's an RSD First release so 10k copies for RSD, then it will be available elsewhere after that. I opted for the smaller M20 box set so, this will go perfect with that. https://recordstoreday.com/SpecialRelease/16438

I'm loving this song. Definitely a sweet Meteora track

Sucks to read all of this. Unfortunately, with big releases, this seems to be a common trend nowadays with box sets/vinyl. This is not exclusive to WB either. I'm pushing 1k pieces in my record collection, and I've noticed a steep drop in QC on major releases in the past couple years. All the big names. I wanted LP Rarities on Vinyl, so I just got the regular HT box set so I didn't know about the big box set issues. There have been a few big releases I had to buy/return several times. I collect, but I also listen to every record I get. I try to spin them within a few days of receiving them. Beastie Boys Hello Nasty took 3 tries. First time, 2x copies of Side C/D and second time both LPs were warped but packaging/sleeve was perfect (most likely warped at the plant from not letting them cool/rest long enough).
