  1. Brno, Czech Republic 17.6.2008: LP has cancelled two previous show because of Brad's illness, I had an LPU meet&greet pass and a few days prior to the date we were really worried whether our show will or will not be cancelled as well. Fortunately it was not, that was the first time I met the guys and the open air-show totally kicked ass despite Brad not being very well. They even played Reading My Eyes that night. Epic.
  2. dude, it's from an email she received from LP's manager, she didn't talk to mike personally
  3. it is a label thing, for sure, but I'm sure Mike's call would count, even though according to their contract there's nothing he can do. But if he or the whole band would just show some sign of support, WB would see how huge the online fanbase is and that the band supports it. WB should see the wall that they are running against. there are loads of posts on mike's blog, he must know about it. well, that page was a punch in the face for the whole copyright law and LP, they offered everything available for download, officials, LPU CD's, DVD rip's... there was basicly no info, news, just downloads. no wonder they shut it down
  4. exactly, clear message signed by as many lp fansites as possible, so when they open a random fanpage it would be right there, on the top of the main page. in english first, under it in native language if the page is not in english so that the readers would understand.
  5. if posting pictures is being punished, then every fanpage is in danger, just like it's written here in the news
  6. yeah, because: - it's us, admins of fanpages, who post an info in our language for people in our country all over the world when there's new stuff out there (RTR lately) so that people go out and they BUY it - it's also us who post info when there's a show near to our country/city so people get to know about it and they go see LP and they BUY their tickets - it's us who create LP communities the word about LP and the latest news spreads as fast as it can and it reaches as many people as possible so that they get to know LP - it's our effort to create a community of hardcore LP fans, who eventually may join LP Underground, official fanclub and they PAY for the membership - it's us who delete links to LPU stuff, official songs, DVD rips etc. because we want people to BUY the stuff that is available in stores so why is this effort being punished?? why??? it's time for us to speak out loud. i can do nothing with our little fanpage, but if sites like lplive, lptimes, and so on would start something big, i would be more than happy to join. even lp said they know about lplive, so i guess their vote counts. like the petition for "no live track on LPU8", there are no more on the new CD, even though we'll probably never know whether the petition caused it. what do you think?
  7. yeah, LP has one of the biggest fanbases on the internet, we should speak out loud as one community, formulate some statement and put it up on forums on lp.com, ms.com, lpu.com, cb.com, everywhere
