  1. That's me with Until it Breaks haha Tbh the entire second half of LT (starting with Castle of Glass) is one of my favorite things they've done, and I think the first half is fun but kinda insubstantial
  2. The only one that bugs me tbh is the set of 4 records that make up a full picture on the back. That's deliberately made to be a "collect all 4!" thing, and if they were posters that'd be fine, but as it is you're also getting 3 extra records you'll do nothing with. It's also why I dislike things like that Taylor Swift album having different tracks on each vinyl variant - there is a tangible thing you're missing out on if you only get one copy 😕 I don't see the issue with the other variants though, or the different cassette covers. I don't think anyone's collection is devalued by "only" having one of the four different color cassette covers - and on a personal level I think it's kinda nice to have the variety. I usually pick the variant I find the most fun or interesting, and just grab that. - From the cassettes that's the one with Mike's artwork (although I wish it came in a jewel case rather than just a sleeve - still not as bad as the latest Bring Me The Horizon cassette though lol) - From the CDs I think the green Amazon cover is interesting, - And from the vinyl records I grabbed the LoL Worlds variant for the novelty of it. Used to be into the game a lot, and I still follow the competitive side, and I think it's just kinda funny to have a big LoL trophy on the disc of the latest LP album (yeah I know picture discs are not the greatest usually, but I also from experience know that most Linkin Park vinyl pressing are not mindblowing anyway)
  3. It's like a weird mix. Some of it definitely felt like an ad, but then I think when they discuss the artwork, bring out the print proofs, and goof around with each other - those bits I find very interesting! Also Frank showing up is just neat in general. I kinda hope we'll get a full episode just about the artwork and design at some point (like the making-of, not just how it looks as the final product)
  4. It was also really compact, which i think makes it pretty convenient. Honestly though all three formats are good in their own way. Cassettes are compact and can be taken on trips easily with a small Walkman. Vinyl has the massive artwork, cool physical feel, and *some* well mastered records I came across sound incredibly good. And CDs allow you to get the full digital audio, while still having something on your shelf, with a booklet, cover, etc.
  5. Makes sense, it would be kinda pointless to make you switch sides after 15 minutes (sure, my walkman has auto-reverse, but the large cassette deck in my living room does not). My cassette copy of "A Kiss For the Whole World" from Enter Shikari also works the same way, giving you the full album on each side.
  6. Could be auto-generated chapters? YouTube does that sometimes and it doesn't always fully get what each part should be called
  7. Nice that's two different sources then
  8. There was one store that showed the complete tracklist for a couple hours, but it got removed. I presume a mistake, as Track 10 is supposed to be hidden - if the tracklist that was posted is true, then Track 10 is not another version of Heavy is the Crown (some people speculated it could be a Mako version of the song)
  9. Vinyl (and CD) preorders for the Season 2 soundtrack are up now! Although it doesn't show the full tracklist anywhere from what I can tell
  10. fwiw, this one was probably due to the album being stuck in development hell for two years and going through a lineup change in the meanwhile Honestly, 3 singles before an album release is a pretty good number. If we get Over Each Other and it's actually a softer track, and then nothing else until the album, I think that's a pretty good trio of songs You have TEM as the introduction to the new lineup, HitC as the "hey don't worry we can do old school LP" single, and then OEO as the "hey don't worry there will be some range on this album" single
