    People shouldn't be lumped into the "oNlY hYbriD thEoRy AnD mETeOrA fOr mE!" group because they have a preference to one mix over another of the exact same song that was recorded during Meteora anyways. It's just a different flavor of the same song, just like any of their other songs with different mix variants, such as the Talking To Myself radio mix.

    I'm not pissed about it, but it felt unnecessary to release it. It's nearly identical to the LPU9 version. The only differences were the slightly different riff and the extended outro, which isn't very good.

    What do you mean? We had the Wizard Song clip, the Thoughts That Take Away My Pride clip, several instances of Lost's instrumental appearing in LPTV videos, isolated instrumentals from those appearances, even fan instrumentals of both and no one came to that conclusion. The only new thing we have at the moment is the final studio version of Lost, which doesn't really provide any new info in this context.

    It's almost like this is a fan site where people discuss the band, and part of the discussion of said band is unreleased music, and Meteora is the current topic considering they're releasing a boxset. As for people wanting a joke song, get over yourself and let other people enjoy things without you whining.

    Chester's Pictureboard that was on HT20 was the Xero instrumental from 1998 with Chester's vocals recorded in 1999 so it is from 1999, what they are referring to is the version they recorded for the actual Hybrid Theory album in 2000 according to Jeff Blue. They also recorded drums at least for Slip, Stick N Move, and And One during the Hybrid Theory sessions.

    Maybe, and they absolutely did record something on the Wizard Song considering there's harmonies on the "Send me your power" section, but it was probably never bounced down from Pro Tools.

    Idk, just seems odd that they created an account 2 days ago, only posted in that Reddit thread, and contradicted themselves on the topic of Resolution. They said both that it was a demo for Lost and that it was a new one for them.

    I don't think it is, I think it's just a title. Especially considering the "Lying From You" clip was pretty much just Mike and Joe talking about CD turntables. Probably just a random clip from the Making of Meteora DVD.

    It could be Drop B, to me it sounded like Drop C# with an inverted power chord for the B like they did on Lying from You. Listening back, you're probably right. It's in the key of C minor but I thought the guitars were tuned to Drop C#.

    It's in Drop C#, same tuning as the rest of Meteora besides Don't Stay, Somewhere I Belong, and Nobody's Listening.
