  1. I got this show, I can upload it if you want. It's Blizzcon right? and as for Relief Live LA, There is no source.

I actually meant to list the date as the 14th...I know there is no source, but there are still several videos on YouTube of full songs. The mp3 collection thread has a lot of YouTube source rips from THP era. Is there a way I can change the topic title?

  2. Mike sent Pictureboard to LPL and it'll be released here. He paid the sample clearence so it's free to share now.

Haha in the wildest dreams of 98% of the fanbase.

  3. I've been wondering if/when this was going to happen...I'm bummed out that it seems likely that Mike has changed his mind or just has been too wrapped up with the album to have the time to arrange this. I miss the ATS album cycle; it was an amazing thing to be a part of, and I would like this cycle to be as special.

I actually didn't mind THP cycle before the album was released, I thought it was cool how we just got GATS randomly basically, but it wasn't smart on the band's part, IMO, a lot of fans didn't like that and it wasn't a strong first single in that sense. Mike even talked about it in that LPA Podcast mentioned above, he basically said that they intended for it to work a bit differently with the Project Spark thing and it just kind of fell apart and wasn't what the band thought it would be, something along those lines.

The ATS cycle before the album release was awesome, too, so wasn't LT. I just hope they do a proper release this time, as in have a strong first single like BID ready to put out, not the way they did GATS as the first single for THP.

  4. THIS. I was excited when I heard him say that. To be honest, I think we should be happy we're getting anything at all. It's not like they have to do it. They could have stayed silent like they did with THP.

Honestly, I actually kind of liked that, how they stayed silent. The studio updates are kind of annoying since we really don't get much info and each time you're left disappointed, even though you shouldn't be expecting much anyways. Lol.

  5. I don't think they will ever do a "making of" again. Almost a year went by for THP before they released any making of footage.

That's really a shame. I used to love watching the making of's. Can't count how many times I've watched them all. I know we have LPTV but it's not the same at all, IMO. I know Fiore films the band constantly, in the studio and not in the studio, so there is definitely more then enough footage to make a half hour making of to include for fans that want to buy it, IMO.

  6. Nothing new. Could they be more vague?

My thoughts as well. They are usually vague each album cycle about the music, but it seems like this time around they're being way more vague then usual. Maybe it's to build up massive hype?

  7. "Wednesday Was A Good Day" was a parody of Ice Cube's "It Was A Good Day" created by Jawbone (american technology company). It was part of their campaign for the JAMBOX Bluetooth Speaker. The concept of the video is described in their YouTube channel:

Basically, Mike Shinoda watched the video and liked it but decided to add a few more elements from Ice Cube's original song to their song. The remix was uploaded to Mike's YouTube channel and posted in his blog.

Wow, thanks for providing this info. Never knew about it.

  8. I recently saw that there was a Mike Shinoda Remix of a song called ''Wednesday Was A Good Day''. I assumed it was fake since I've never heard of it.. But is it? I did some googling and found a lot of sites that had info on it from 2011 and what not, even Worldstarhiphop did.

  9. Source? Where did you hear that?

Admittedly, I don't know much about StageLight. I know that when it launched in 2012, there were a bunch of demos included, like Chicken Basket. I think they were just short idea seed type things, like 10 minute drum loops, etc. They weren't complete demos like Bruiser or Space Station, etc.

  10. Anyone who has StageLight...

Apparently, a demo from the MTM Era entitled ''Episodes'' (as seen on the making of MTM as well) was released alongside a bunch of other demos or seeds or whatever you call them.

Has anyone ever put this track together? If so, is it possible to be shared here? I'd love to hear what it sounded like.

  11. The thing is, I think Linkin Park is picking individual artists to produce certain songs for the album. It might end up having a bunch of songs that are produced by different people. Now, that doesn't mean that these guests will be contributing vocals or musical work, but they might just be helping Linkin Park with certain tracks. For example, maybe Jon Green from The Bonfires was helping the band work on a specific song. Maybe Blackbear is helping the band work on a specific song. It's very interesting how they are creating this album, and they haven't given us much information at all really. They've been giving us a lot of pictures and videos from the recording process, but hardly anything about what the actual music sounds like, as Mike joked about on the podcast for the last album update. However, I think this clip is most likely the song that Blackbear is working on with Linkin Park. The vocals and beat sound pretty Linkin Parkish. And even though it's just a small clip, you can actually kind of tell a little bit about the song just from that clip alone. At first, I thought that was Chester singing, with an effect on his voice, but now it sounds like Mike singing, with an effect on his voice. Blackbear's singing sounds very similar to that style as well. It's definitely Linkin Park related, or at least Mike Shinoda related, because that's clearly Linkin Park's studio in that video. Knowing how Linkin Park is, we probably won't hear any further clips from this song or any information about this song again, unless it makes the record, which I'm sure it will.

  12. http://www.mediafire.com/download/4q09obe4hk5urdw/LP-2011-07-04+London%2C+UK+iTunes+Festival+%28mp3+WEB+320kbps+CBR%29.zip

There has been a full webcast rip circulating on this site for years that is irritatingly censored which forced users to download the uncensored songs from Youtube, which resulted in variable volume.

I've noticed this about A LOT of the recordings here on LPL. A lot of them have different volumes for different songs, even different rips in some shows, etc. I can't stand listening to that type of stuff. Thanks for doing this. Hopefully you can remaster some other epic shows (such as Reading 2003, Rock Am Ring 2004, etc) and what not as well because this is really great stuff.

EDIT: The download link no longer works.

  13. Do we know for a fact that Blackbear is working with Linkin Park? Martin Garrix said he was working with Linkin Park and it ended up just being a track that featured Mike Shinoda. This is 100% for sure the ''superpop'' sound that Chester was talking about that the band was originally making for THP if it actually is Linkin Park music. If this is an indication of what the album might sound like, I think it's very different sounding for LP, maybe even more so than ATS or MTM ever could have been. I actually like it.

EDIT: Broman's post made me 99.9% sure that that's Mike singing in that clip.
