Back in 2007, Linkin Park played Jimmy Kimmel Live for Minutes to Midnight, except the show was moved to the House of Blues on Sunset Strip. As is customary with Kimmel sets, the bands usually play two songs for TV and then a few more songs for the fans in attendance. Since this was at a small club, it was expected Linkin Park would at least play ten or more songs.

Fan sites at the time reported on alleged setlists, and we even made LPU threads and posts asking attendees for the set. However, nothing was ever found to exactly confirm what the band played. The setlist on the show page from 2007-2023 was a combination of what attendees guessed/remembered was played and we've kept it as unconfirmed this entire time. As far as the Linkin Park community is concerned, this was the last missing setlist from 2004 to present day that was missing from the site. Everything from late 2004 to now has been properly archived for Linkin Park, Fort Minor, Dead By Sunrise, Mike Shinoda, and more. At times, this has relied on DBS member Amir Derakh or even Mike Shinoda himself to send us setlists for the site. And we thank them for all of the help by doing that.

Thankfully, Felipeintheend was able to contact a producer of the show that archived setlists by bands played on Jimmy Kimmel over the years, and the person was happy to send over exactly what Linkin Park performed that night.

So... 5,721 days later, we finally have the setlist and have been able to fix the number one gap we've had from the end of the Meteora era to present day!

Great catch! Finally, I would say

  2. Mike loves Pusha T, I’ve heard him say in a lot of interviews that he is a huge fan of him. He’s pretty respected in the rap world, actually. He also was featured on Recharged back in 2013 so he obviously likes working with LP too. But yeah, I don’t think he’s that great personally. He’s ok, I don’t hate his verse.

Unpopular opinion: I think that Good Goodbye contains the worst performance from Pusha T. A lot of tracks where he is featured as a guest artist are better (like Gorillaz's Let Me Out or Steve Angello's Freedom).

  3.

The true highlights of this release. I agree.

Absolutely agree, along with the fantastic 2017 version of LOATR.

BTW, I'm a bit sad because songs like The Catalyst or One Step Closer (the latter with a wonderful intro) are not included in this live release.

  4. I hope they'll release it as a single with a music video dedicated to Chester. It can be a beautiful tribute. But I'm kind of confused, did they end up not releasing TTM?

"Talking to Myself" was released on July 25 and it didn't chart very well in the US, compared to the titletrack (at moment *and still* not a single).

  5. Here in Italy, Good Goodbye was released for airplay on May 12 (and there is also a cover art for the single). Weird that Invisible is not a single at all, after being promoted on Linkin Park socials and with the The Late Late Show live performance.

BTW, my hope is that Talking to Myself will be released also as a physical single in Europe, like Heavy. Let's see.

  6. Maybe they should start providing stuff that people actually use on a regular basis.

    Just some ideas:

    LPU mousemat

    Keychain

A watch (considering Target sell $10 watches, it shouldn't be that expensive to produce)

Phone/iPod holder for your arm (you know, what you see joggers wearing)

A glasses case - just about everyone owns a pair of glasses (sunglasses/spectacles)

    LPU Cup/Mug/Glass/Shotglass

    Scarf/Cap/beanie

Good ideas: some of them were in my mind.

  7. You are kidding right? Did you forget about the shoelaces, ear buds etc?

Not kidding: what do you do with stickers? <_< I don't remember any useful gadget since the eleventh edition.

If stickers/artwork are considered "useless" now that makes pretty much every LPU package ever released useless lol.

Never saying that: I consider them "useless" because it's a shame paying 60 dollars for them plus the annual CD, T-Shirt & laminate.
