  1. Didn't they hand out Wastelands CDs at a concert? Were those just blank CD cases without artwork, and that's why it's just a digital single?

Well, if CDs were sold then we can consider it as physical single.

Idk but does the band consider the UFC video as Music Video for Wastelands?

  3. I will. LPU is better. LPL sucks because it's nothing but nu-metal fans who hate everything else. MTM sucks, OOA sucks, ATS sucks, LT sucks, Recharged sucks, THP sucks, Darker Than Blood sucks, etc. These people aren't true fans if you ask me. You were s fan of the old LP, but it's 2015 now. The ship sailed in 2007.

Dude LPL is far better than many other LP forums including LPA.

And besides all the hates for LT, i find some really loyal LT fans in this site.

  4. That's the point. I understand what you're saying. And you're expecting only positive or critiquing opinions. Hahninator honestly thinks the song is trash. You're going to attack him for that? Like I said, he has the right to post whatever opinion he likes, even if you don't like it. Maybe I don't like your praise of the song, but I'm not going to rant about that. Because it's stupid to tell someone they can't speak their opinion just because it's not fluttery feel-good praise or constructive. You're contradicting yourself at this point, saying we're entitled to our opinions and then adding that it's only if you like it and isn't excessively negative.

There are other words to describe your dissatisfaction.

  5. I like the song and i also love ALTNC. Plus i love all the lp albums for different reasons i love the fact lp do something different each album keeps it fresh. yes i love hybrid theory to bits but if the band kept doing that same sound they would have split up,they said that themselfs. I want lp to keep doing different stuff like this i love it. Yes people have the right to there own option on the song, but calling it garbage is just childish just cause you don't like the song doesn't mean the song is garbage.you don't like it fine that's your option but it is not garbage it's just not your jam.

Pretty much agree with this. And the song is a very good Dance song.

  6. It's so fucking frustrating to have been a fan of Linkin Park for such a long time and read these comments. Not just in this thread about this particular song, but in almost every thread with new music in it.

Linkin Park tried so hard to break out of the nu-metal stigma in 2007 and they did. But somehow, they've still managed to keep these fans who only accept the first few albums and consider everything else to be shit. 8 years later and you still read these comments.

I personally get extremely offended when I go on a website that is supposed to be a ''fan-site'' and have to read comments by the creator of the site that this is ''downright garbage'' just because he doesn't like it. Music is fucking subjective. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean that someone as doesn't.

I happen to really enjoy this song. Mike and Chester did a great job and I enjoy both of the collaborations they have done with Steve Aoki. I wish they would do more with Steve, to be honest.

Linkin Park is a band that isn't afraid to take chances and expand themselves and I love that about them. I just don't love the fact that there are still these type of people that are fans of the band. If you don't like it, that's fine. But you don't need to say that it's ''downright garbage'' just because it's not something that you personally enjoy. It just seems weird to see someone who is the creator of a fan-site for Linkin Park saying that.

You are right. All LP albums are unique and awesome in their own ways. This applies to Recharged too.And its really annoying to see anti Living Things comments.

  7.

I've been playing Let Down ever since I heard the live version in 2005. I love the album version and I also love the live versions. It's a great song, IMO. If you've ever been through a bad break up or divorce, it's a great song to listen to. But on top of that, I love the melodies.

Its a good song. Not a great song compared to LP standards. Again, thats my opinion. My opinion can vary anytime.Just like your opinion about LT.
  8. I love living things and the hunting party yes not as much as ATS but still love them. But i agree i fucking love FM i still blast the rising tide. Dbs just didn't work i think if he had done more acoustic stuff like how let down was in the beginning before they ruined it i just think JK ruined dbs that's where it went wrong and stp is failing to most ppl i talk to think it's awful chester replaced scott honestly I don't think there album with sell and i think they have a short shelf life.

STP is totally different from DBS.You can't decide till the album comes out.It might be different from High Rise.

About ATS,Its the only album i play from top to bottom, since it creates an awesome experience. But as a collection of songs i love LT more.

  9.

I do. And I sure as hell would rather have a great Fort Minor album like The Rising Tied, or even a great mixtape like We Major, instead of an extremely subpar album like Living Things. The Hunting Party was good, but not great, and I enjoy TRT much more than THP. Fort Minor was extremely popular with the fanbase. Back in 2005, people LOVED it. When Dead By Sunrise came around, it had way less attention than FM did. Why? I'm not sure, but Chester failed miserably by not even having a website or forum for it. My personal opinion is that the quality of DBS was WAY lower than FM, but that's just me. Julien-K and Howard Benson were not what Chester needed for a solo project. FM, however, was a flawless project to me.

DBS was liked more than the STP stuff, at least judging by LPL and social media (where there's almost no CheSTP discussion), but not even close to half as much as Fort Minor. I was around heavily for both and I fully believe that statement to be accurate.

About LT, i disagree. Its the perfect blend of new and old style. And LITE was just a masterpiece.According to me LT is the best album of LP.

About FM being great and DBS being below par,I agree.Mike just nailed FM.

  10.

It's not the souces, it's you lol

LPA ''Slip Out the Back is the sixteenth and final track from Fort Minor's The Rising Tied. Mr. Hahn, turntablist of alternative band Linkin Park, is featured in this track while performing the scratches.''

    Thats the source.

Anyway I love FM (Since i'm a big Mike fan) and no one loves them is your opinion.

  11. I think Brad has gotten pretty good at production in the time that he wasn't focusing on guitar during ATS and LT, so I don't see why he wouldn't be working on some stuff on his own like Mike often does. Other than Brad being lazy or uninterested, he's pretty close to Mike's level, if not better in some aspects like playing guitar. He could write some good stuff if Mike and Chester aren't readily available.

Or, you know, the other three guys in the band could write some stuff too.

If Joe can write songs like "Slip Out The Back" (Source: wikipedia and LPA Wiki) he can right brilliant songs.

  12. I think that he has been working on this secretly for a while now with more finished than we would expect.

They recorded several LP albums since TRT and I'm sure there were a lot of leftovers he could have used. I Have Not Begun or Debris are examples for that. We know that Mike is constantly working on music so it's not that far fetched.

I think a release later this year seems completely possible to me, LP has a lot of off time this year, which i think is on purpose, maybe just for STP but maybe for FM too.

You know i thought this is highly unlikely as i posted before but now, i think it is really likely to happen. Especially when you mentioned IHNB.
