ALSO: I wanted to address this to everyone on LPL. You know the 'thoughts that take away my pride' demo from Meteora that we have all wanted forever? Well in the 3rd LPTV episode from 2007, you can hear the instrumental to it. It's not a different track. Listen extremely carefully in the thoughts that take away my pride clip, it's the same music!!! This means that the song must be completed and out there!!! We could VERY WELL get it if we all bother Mike and LPU about it.

1. No Roads Left - i think mike is a very good singer and when comes in on the second chorus it sends shivers through my body, amazing! and the the strings only add to the badass-ness

2 & 3. Not Alone and New Divide

the 2 are interchangable, i love them both the same. i always have to restart New divide because the intro just makes me feel so good hearing it, puts me in some kind of fantasy dream land. the verse leading up to the bridge and then the bridge itself makes me get up and jump because it just pumps me with energy. The slowness of Not Alone is just so soothing, i dont understand all the hate for this song. The weird intro sounds and the scratching at the end combined with chesters "ooh oooh's" just makes me love lp more and more each time i hear them

so im a little confused, is the cd "a decade underground" the lpu 10 cd? from what im gathering that cd is gonna be like a greatest hits from the previous 9 lpu cds. or is there going to be a different lpu 10 cd with all new content on it? or is the "decade underground" cd going to have some new songs on it too?

I think I'm the only LP fan that thinks Pretend To Be is fucking amazing. I don't know why I like it so much, it's kinda poppy, but I love the lyrics and the melody is just so good. It's one of my favorite LP tracks...

Yes, the CD will be available to purchase. And... i'm going to PUSH for a digipack!! I'm just as sick of slipcovers as you guys are. No promises though, but believe me I'm pushing hard for it. The reason we used slipcovers in the past is for the Best Buy Packs, which will no longer exist.

Once again, the whiners should really be thankful that I'm not in Linkin Park - if I was, I'd pull a Lou Reed and release an hour-long album consisting of nothing but guitar feedback instead of A Thousand Suns just to piss people off. And did it ever occur to you that some people only bother to announce and participate in what pleases them as opposed to the people who only speak when something doesn't.

Did it ever also occur to you that maybe the fan happens to like everything the band does because the band has yet to disappoint them? Since when did it become a crime that you can be pleased by a band each and every time?

 

I am an LP fan because I found out every time, at least 90% of the music on their album pleases me. Because i love so much of their work, the 10% that i don't isn't worth my time to bitch about. I save that for the music i hate 90% of.
