Yeah, the new provisional bassist who has to fill in even though he did an awesome job.

LB didn't say no due to no interrest though, rather due to current issues they weren't planning with, 99% certain they would've been broadcasted if those issues wouldn't be.

Sucks that Mike does not wanna do 2 shows a day, otherwise Fort Minor would have been excellent for Rock Im Sektor and Rock'N'Heim... and like that we also could've gotten rid of RTN/Welcome during the LP set and get another LP song instead.

Sounds like no 3 days to me personally, I believe they will move the event to september in order to let LP play there and I suppose it will be a 1 day event only or get cancelled completely.

Still no freaking signs of Rock'N'Heim..

and An, I wouldn't worry about Austria -> Belgium, Mike and Joe have done the wall event in Berlin and played the Oberhausen later at the same night, if there are no 3 days in a row happening, I say LP @ PKP is really possible yet... we'll just have to wait, patience is the keyword here.

so i think Lollapalooza Berlin will not have LP as act. The second headliner will be announced on 1st of June but it's a too short name on the poster.

They were not wrong, they just didn't know about all cities.

They were right about the Limp Bizkit shows in 2014, so I suppose they must have some kind of source.

I suppose those 3 are happening + Hamburg maybe + Rock'N'Heim. Just announce it already for fucks sake^^

Ok so what else do we have for rumors? Is Rock'n'Heim announcing something soon? Their Facebook page has been inactive for months but fans are blowing up their wall about Linkin Park. https://www.facebook.com/RocknHeim/timeline

Is it possible their "sister" festival Rock im Pott could return? https://www.facebook.com/rockimpott Linkin Park could easily headline the arena it's in ( Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen) on their own, with a support act or two. It could easily be a double festival booking, but maybe they don't bring that festival back since it wasn't held in 2014.

Rock'N'Heim is rumored to be cancelled and to be confirming acts at the same time lol

It's weird at the moment, the people who say it's getting cancelled are convinced because no acts announced so far and I also read today that someone who works at a catering service who serve at MLK festivals saying the festival would be cancelled, but then on the other side there was also one source who has said that bands are booked and they should be announced soon.

As for Rock Im Pott, a bug at the MLK page revealed that Rock Im Pott would be taking part again this year, it got fixed meanwhile but the date was at the same weekend as Rock'N'Heim, I believe August 15th. I suppose this will be the last Rock Im Pott edition due to Rock Im JHQ launching in 2016.

I could also imagine them playing Lollapalooza Berlin or Highfield (rather not there, but locationwise it could fit) but that is pure speculation.

Anyway, my bets for this run for Germany are:

Rock'N'Heim

Rock Im Pott

Lollapalooza Berlin or Highfield

Headline Show in Hamburg since Warner is there.

We will know soon I suppose.

Rock'N'Heim has been quiet about it's own festival since September, it would be a kind of "out of nothing" announcement, but pretty much everyone is awaiting an announcement and I suppose our promoters wanted to start with LP
