Hey guys,

I've been meaning to ask this question for awhile but I haven't had the energy to post, lol.

Anyway I was thinking - Why doesn't LP release the video footage (the stuff that is projected on the big screen) as a DSP?

I mean they are shooting it anyway, why not record it and sell it for $20-$25 a show?

That would be cool, but it would probably take up too much space on people's computers and on theirs. Audio doesn't take up as much space. Plus, it would probably take more money to record the videos instead of the audio.

Yeah, the bandwidth they'd have to use for something like that would be crazy, unless they were to encode it at such a low bitrate that it wouldn't even be worth paying for in the first place. I doubt it's a money issue (beyond the cost of the server space/bandwidth), because all they'd really have to do is record the live video feed and sync it up with the DSP audio, the editing would probably be minimal.

Good idea, but I think that editing would take a lot of time and space, SD 480p is useless today.

btw. posting youtube links with DSP audio is cool with site rules???
