Matrix Recordings

Okay, for starters I know some of these shows have soundboard audio for them but matrix recordings sound more natural. Some of these you can use the audio from video sources (amateur/audience recordings only) for as well. And if possible (i doubt it will be), make them a 5.1 surround sound mix in an iso file so you can burn them to a CD in 5.1

I want at least 1 from each show so it would be better if the ones with the most sources were done

Thanks.

Sure, I'll get right on these. Expect to have them done by sometime near the end of the century.

A couple of things here... If you're going to make a request, make it reasonable. To request this much all at once and of something that to my knowledge does not exist for any of these shows is laughable. Next, there are very few shows on your list that have even one decent sounding audio source - Most of the audio from fan videos is average at best. Lastly, some of the sources are uncirculated and aren't even in the hands of people who could pull off creating a matrix recording. Matrix recordings are only an option if the sources work together (a SBD recording + AUD source or 2 AUD sources, one with good vocals, etc). If you take 2 or 3 subpar sources and mix them, the sum of the parts will sound just as poor as the separate parts.

What is a matrix recording?

It's sort of the audio equivalent of a multi-cam mix. You take multiple audio sources from the same show and mix them together with different panning/EQ/volume levels to create a mix that sounds like it was recorded from several different spots in the venue at the same time. It's most commonly done with regular stereo mixes using 2 or 3 sources (either a left/right mix or a left/right/center mix), but I've heard of it done with 5.1 mixes too.

I tried it a couple of times and always ended up in this double voice problem (mixing AUD audio with the DSP). Making good matrixes is pretty hard I guess.

I don't think it's worth all the hassle. Unless it's a special show with great sources.

And yes your request is ridiculously huge.
