The Billboard Hot 100 tracks the hottest songs of the week in terms of both sales and radio plays. Last week, Waiting For The End was placed at #56. It is interesting to note that 4 of the top 10 songs on this chart have been on this chart for 16 or more weeks. Not only has Waiting For The End climbed to #50 on the Billboard Hot 100, it has received a * consecutively for the last several weeks. This * symbol indicates that the song has earned the biggest gain in radio airplays out of all the songs on the Billboard Hot 100. This symbol is assigned only to a select number of songs that have seen an increased amount of attention on the radio. Good job Linkin Park!
