Yass Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 From this source http://www.thewrap.com/ind-column/academy-...ontenders-11891 The Academy has announced the 63 contenders in the Best Song category for the 82nd Oscars show. Among the films represented by multiple entries are "Hannah Montana the Movie" with five, "The Princess and the Frog" with, and "Nine," "Crazy Heart," "Where the Wild Things Are," "An Education," "The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus," "My One and Only," "Skin," "Adventures of Power" and "Invictus" (two each). Artists include U2 ("Winter"), Jarvis Cocker ("Petey's Blues"), Linkin Park ("New Divide") and Paul McCartney ("(I Want to) Come Home"). Thoughts? Quote
maxstar Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 It will be very hard to reach top 5 because of "63 Song Contenders" but maybe something can happen Quote
1996_LP Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 I really doubt it, especialy with the likes of Paul McCartney being another. Although Hannah Montana is there, so I guess anythings possible! Quote
