LPLStaff Posted November 7 Posted November 7 A new Linkin Park billboard has been potted in Bangalore, India saying "ONE SHOW WASN'T ENOUGH", perhaps teasing another show in India for the band. Linkin Park also teased their Australia Tour with billboards, so the tactic is fresh for them. From bangaloreblogger: "I was on my way to the office this morning. My office is in Koramangala and I came across this Linkin Park Hoarding. It’s not officially confirmed anywhere yet, nothing on Google or their socials, but I really hope it’s true. I’ve been a fan for as long as I can remember and their music has been there for me through everything. If this actually happens, it’s gonna feel like such a personal win.🥹🤌" LP will perform at Lollapalooza India in Mumbai as a headliner in January 2026, with at least three days off beforehand coming from Abu Dhabi, but with just three stops (also, Bahrain) on the leg, there is room for an additional show. This would be their first standalone headline show in India ever, if true. We will see what happens! Quote
LeonardoMF93 Posted November 7 Posted November 7 I might be wrong, but this artwork hasn’t been used by the band yet, right? The other billboards all shared the same artwork, right? This one is different from the others we had seen. Isn’t there a chance that it was a fan trying to get the band’s attention and we’re interpreting it the wrong way? I also find it curious that Lollapalooza didn’t sign an exclusivity contract for a band that has been highly wanted in the country for years. Let’s hope it’s a new show for India. Quote
LPLStaff Posted November 7 Author Posted November 7 It looks legit. If someone used the band's photo and logo in this manner they'd get a takedown ASAP from Warner and possibly even get sued. Lolla's promoters may even be involved in this? Or maybe not? There seems to be big demand for LP in India and they have days off between Adu Dhabi and Lollapalooza. It is interesting there isn't a country-wise exclusivity contract for Lolla, but it could be either the same promoter or a good relationship between them to allow something like this to happen. It seems all but confirmed with Adam saying this: Quote
LeonardoMF93 Posted November 7 Posted November 7 (edited) Before that, Adam had already liked some posts about the photo, which made it clear it was real. I just didn’t have time to comment here afterwards. As a lawyer, I can say that for someone to be sued, they have to be located. 🤣 Anyway, I’m really happy that Linkin Park is giving attention to a country with such a strong market. What an incredible day! Grammy nominations, a new show in India, Brazilian fans taking photos with Colin and Emily in São Paulo... Edited November 7 by LeonardoMF93 Quote
LPLStaff Posted November 7 Author Posted November 7 Things certainly are going very well lately in the LP world. What an exciting time! Quote
RYG4R Posted November 7 Posted November 7 A new Indian, punjabi-esque sample would be great to include in any songs in the future (just like Nobody's Listening with japanese flute). Quote
javignacio Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Well, the Linkin Park Instagram account uploaded the photo to it's stories so it's as official as it could be Quote
