Linkin Park Headlining Download UK 2026

Linkin Park will be making their triumphant return to Download Festival 2026 in Donington, UK! The band is billed as a UK exclusive coming a year after they sold out Wembley Stadium to what was likely a record LP crowd in England.

 

 

The band will not be performing any other shows in the UK in 2026, ending speculation that they may have a UK run.

 

 

Linkin Park returns after 2004, 2007, 2011, and 2014 stints at the festival in Donington, among other Download performances through the years - Download Paris, Download Madrid, Download Scotland, etc.

 

 

The last LP show at Download UK came as the band performed Hybrid Theory in full in 2014 in the iconic show that was released (in audio)!

I saw that LP will be the first female fronted band to headline Download Festival with this performance. That’s awesome and a long time coming.

Female fronted? Sounds misleading she isn't the only singer.

I don't have issues with that. To me you're nitpicking. She's linkin park lead singer most of the time.

Of course not lol. But LP as of this moment is fronted by a female singer. And they are the first artist with a female singer to headline Download Festival

i just think that it is technically inaccurate mike is no longer just the rapper he's on almost every song he's also the frontman and leader of the band.

No doubt he's the leader of the band but I don't see anything wrong with saying that Emily is the lead singer and therefore the band is female fronted. If you see LP live you see Emily sing the chorus almost all the time with very few exceptions. Then it's fine also too say that LP is both male and female fronted, probably more correct. But come on choose a better battle

 I agree She's the face of LP now... As a 20 year LPU member I have 0 issues with hearing this. Yes mikes the head dude but she's the front women of the band now.
