RogueSoul Posted Sunday at 09:13 PM Posted Sunday at 09:13 PM We're a little late to the party today, but luckily things are only getting started! Linkin Park brings the From Zero World Tour back to Canada for one more show on the west coast, this time returning to Vancouver, British Columbia for the first time since 2012 for a show at the Rogers Arena tonight, September 21, 2025! This will be Linkin Park's fourth show in the city of Vancouver, and their first in thirteen years! The band last performed in the city in 2012 on an off-date during the Honda Civic Tour with Incubus (apparently Honda simply doesn't bring the Civic Tour to Canada) for the first show ever at tonight's venue, delivering Set A which opened with 'Tinfoil' into 'Faint.' Lots of rare Living Things tracks were performed, including 'In My Remains' and 'Victimized (w/ QWERTY),' as well as more familiar hits like 'Lost In The Echo' and 'Burn It Down' still fresh off the presses. Other memorable moments include the extended intros and outros the band added to many songs, including the Wall Of Noise Outro and Apaches Intro with a verse of 'Until It Breaks' for 'Waiting For The End' and the extended intro for 'Lost In The Echo' that featured sounds from the LPU-released demo 'Holding Company.' Mike Einziger from Incubus also came out to play guitar at the end of the show during 'Bleed It Out,' after the band jammed to 'Sabotage' by the Beastie Boys. Prior to this, Linkin Park last played in Vancouver in February 2004 on the Meteora Winter North American Tour, which is another setlist we didn't have any information for until I stumbled across one about five minutes ago while comparing our notes to setlist.fm. According to an attendee of the show, it looks like Vancouver saw a pretty typical setlist from this time, barring 'P5hng Me A*wy' in the encore which seems to have been dropped for an unknown reason. This was Linkin Park's last show in Canada of the Meteora World Tour, and similarly to the From Zero World Tour also saw stops in Montréal and Toronto. The setlist at this time was packed full of goods even despite the one dropped song, with Vancouver seeing the likes of 'It's Goin' Down' and 'Nobody's Listening' in full, as well as a killer opening of the iconic 'With You' and 'Runaway' combo, and an encore opener of 'My December' to top things all off. Funny enough, this is the fourth setlist I've added to our live guide in the last run of shows the band has done after just comparing notes and asking you guys who had been to some of the older shows. If you have any info on any of the old shows we don't have much information on in our live guide, send any staff a message or fill out the contact form on Linkinpedia! For those who want to stay up to date, the new additions to the live guide this past week include: Sacramento 2001, San Jose 2004, North Little Rock 2004 (thanks to LPLive member rav0k), and now Vancouver 2004! Three shows from this one 2004 tour alone so far - if anyone's got anything else, let us know! This includes Linkin Park's very first show in the city back in November 2001 at The Orpheum, right before the Countdown To Revolution Tour. What we do know about this show is that according to a tour itinerary that was discovered, we found out that the tour production rehearsals began in Kansas City the next week, leaving this show and one in Bakersfield, California as one-offs before the real tour began. Linkin Park opening their show at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia on September 4, 2012 with 'Tinfoil' and 'Faint.' Linkin Park's last show on the From Zero World Tour took place in Portland, Oregon, their first show in the city since 2004! They returned in a big way, performing one of our favorite versions of the current setlist we've seen the whole tour so far! Whipping out and modifying Set B, the band immediately started making changes to the set from its last performance, with 'Points Of Authority,' 'Up From The Bottom,' and 'Crawling' rotating into Act I before 'The Emptiness Machine,' preceded by 'From Zero (Intro),' ended the first part of the show. Act II followed suit with 'Unshatter' moving down to an earlier spot for the first time, before Mike showed some love to The Hunting Party (for once!) with the second appearance on tour of the first verse of 'Wastelands,' followed quickly by a full 'Keys To The Kingdom,' being performed for the first time since the second night in Montréal earlier on the tour! 'Stained' returned to its old spot in the ballad rotation in Act III, before 'Let You Fade' also made its return to the set (after having not been performed since Denver, Colorado at the start of the month), leading to a huge new feat: the band performed all three bonus tracks from From Zero in one set! On top of all of these treats, the band was having a lot of fun with this show, constantly referring to some fans dressed up as bananas throughout the show and really taking some jams to another level, with both Disco and Punk styles coming out for the end of 'Numb' and Emily singing the whole bridge of 'In The End' for the first time! Mike even showed off his classical piano training by playing 'Für Elise' over the intro of 'Overflow' for the first time! With such a huge comeback in Oregon, we're sure the band's return to Vancouver will be just as huge. Vancouver is lined up for Set C ('Burn It Down' theme), but with how much the band has been changing things up lately, we're not sure how much that really means beyond the interlude lyrics! What we can report is that Set C was last played in San Jose, California last week, and featured the following rotations: 'Points Of Authority,' 'Stained,' and 'New Divide' in Act I, 'Castle Of Glass' and 'IGYEIH' in Act II, 'Unshatter' in Act III, and 'Good Things Go' in Act IV. We're sure the band will change some things up for this show from the last Set C, and we'll keep you posted on everything that does happen at the show! Linkin Park's full show at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon on September 19, 2025. If you missed the live coverage of this set, definitely check this show out as it was some of the most fun the band has had on tour yet, and had one of the best setlists of the whole year! Who's going? JPEGMAFIA will be opening the show with his indie hip-hop blend, featuring hits like 'Lean Beef Patty' and 'Sacring The Hose' warming the crowd up. Don't miss his set if you can make it early - with time running out, we're hoping to see an onstage collaboration during Linkin Park's set, too, to follow through with the rest of the openers on this North American leg. Weatherman Rogue Soul reporting a pretty but cool day up in the Pacific Northwest, with the high of 16°C now dropping to the low of 12°C at night, so be sure to be bundled up for later in the night! Linkin Park has one final show of their North American run this year on Wednesday, where they will wrap the leg up in Seattle, Washington before having a month off. The tour resumes at the end of October with one final leg of the year in South America, with stops in Colombia, Peru, Brazil, and more! With all the recent Linkinpedia updates we've been doing as far as the show pages show, we'd like your help in expanding them further! We are looking for pictures or scans of a number of items from the band's 2025 tour, including wristbands, tickets, setlists, exclusive pop-up store content, and more. If you have anything to contribute, check out our thread on the matter and submit your pictures directly to us - if they meet the mark we will get them uploaded to the show pages and credit you (and also blur your information out where applicable)! Be sure to check out the site to see our recent changes to the show pages (including marked rotation songs, album breakdowns, and more statistics) if you haven't already, and enjoy the upgrades to our LPLive and Linkinpedia servers with faster loading times on both sites! We've also recently launched an LPLive Newsletter for those looking for more of a TL;DR version of what's going on with the tour than my pre-show posts - we'll be sending it out every couple of weeks so as to not flood your inbox, but we'll be bringing you an overview of both tour and general news updates in these, so be sure to sign up if you haven't already! We'll have you covered on everything the band does at this show and everything they whip out for the rest of the year, so be sure to sign up on the forums and follow us on social media (Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook)! LinkinMark Posted Sunday at 10:07 PM Posted Sunday at 10:07 PM (edited) Let’s freakin’ gooooo. First show since London Nov. 2014! Hyped is an understatement. crossing everything to see From The Inside tonight, however unlikely that is 😄 Edited Sunday at 10:54 PM by LinkinMark Quote
linkin_boss Posted Sunday at 10:30 PM Posted Sunday at 10:30 PM I'm so pumped up for this. It's gonna be my 5th Linkin Park show, and I'm loving the current setlist. Just crossing my fingers we get Good Things Go, since its my favorite song on the album! If you see a guy with a Chilean flag (the not Texas flag 🤣) 🇨🇱, that's me! Quote
LinkinMark Posted Monday at 04:55 PM Posted Monday at 04:55 PM Wow what a great show! The band are truly on great form. Were there setlist changes I would make? Absolutely. But I don’t care, my favourite band in the world is back on a stage in front of me. I didn’t know how I would react to seeing them again with everything that’s transpired since my last show in 2014, and I’m not really an emotional person, but I shed tears for pretty much the entire first act. Emily sounds incredible in person, Mike looks so happy to be back up there. Vancouver crowd had really good energy (shoutout to the camera man hyping everyone up with a Call Me Maybe sing-a-long just before the band hit the stage). A great night indeed, hope they’ll be back soon ❤️ Quote
linkin_boss Posted Monday at 06:09 PM Posted Monday at 06:09 PM In all of the years I've lived in Vancouver, I've found a lot of the crowds very underwhelming and non-responsive to the shows. Last night was nothing like that. With a sold-out arena, I really hope they are motivated to come back soon! I was fortunate enough to attend the Kia Forum last year, and they sounded so tight. It was great to meet some old-timers from the LPU community . And Collin showed up before Jpegmafia to spend some time with the fans on the front row, we got to snag a selfie and an autograph, so that was pretty sweet! I took only a few videos, I didn't wanna record the whole thing from front row it's kinda uncomfortable. Now I'm heading to Seattle next! I hope this time I get Good Things Go, I really wanna see it live. Quote
