We're officially on the last few shows of the second North American leg of the From Zero World Tour, but Linkin Park still has some important stops to make! The band returns to Portland, Oregon for the first time in twenty-one years for a show at the Moda Center tonight, September 19, 2025!

This will be Linkin Park's fifth show ever in Portland and the state of Oregon, and their first time in the state since 2004! They last performed in Portland on the Meteora North American Tour in February 2004: despite not visiting the state much throughout their career, Portland certainly got its fair share of rare cuts at this one. With the likes of 'Nobody's Listening,' 'It's Goin' Down,' 'P5hng Me A*wy,' 'My December,' and more, Portland saw a truly explosive setlist unfold back in the day. Prior to this, the band had performed in the state a few times on the Hybrid Theory cycle, the last of which was the penultimate date of the Family Values Tour, and the last time Linkin Park performed at tonight's venue (it was then called the Rose Garden)! LPU Mod Jeanne - who I had the pleasure of meeting back at the start of the current leg - was brought up onstage for 'Crawling,' staying up there for the rest of the show, even during a very rare and short cover of 'Sweet Child O' Mine' by Guns N' Roses! Tonight will be the band's first time headlining the venue for their own show, as Stone Temple Pilots headlined the tour - Chester came out during their set to sing 'Dead & Bloated' with them in Portland, and also apparently (according to show reviews) licked Scott Weiland's thighs when he came out onstage naked. The good ol' days, am I right?

Linkin Park's first two shows in Portland took place in January 2001 on the Street Soldiers Tour for the first ever headlining show in the city as the second stop on the tour, and in October 2000, the day after Hybrid Theory came out, making their debut in the state opening for the Kottonmouth Kings on their Ridin' High Tour. We don't have a setlist or any notes for these shows, so if you were there and happen to remember anything, let us know!

A full audio recording of Linkin Park's show at the Rose Garden Arena (now the Moda Center, tonight's venue) on the Family Values Tour in Portland, Oregon on November 16, 2001. A great set here that really shows the band feeling confident in their live sound after what must have been the craziest year of their lives!

The band wrapped up their collection of shows in California in the state capital of Sacramento for their last show, and continued to alter the setlist to make sure the surprises keep coming even up to the very end! The brand whipped out Set A ('Castle Of Glass' theme) in the city, with 'Lying From You,' 'Up From The Bottom,' and 'New Divide' all featuring in Act I before 'From Zero (Intro)' returned as a short intro to 'The Emptiness Machine' for the second time. Funny enough, there was some sort of issue with the playback as Emily spoke to the crowd before it, saying something along the lines of "so about this next song..." Mike started talking just as the intro track started, causing the mix booth to quickly stop it, leading to a false start of a song that doesn't have any live instrumentation - funny stuff! The band continued unphased into Act II, where 'Stained' and 'Casualty' made appearances, alongside the return of 'Lies Greed Misery' after being dropped for 'Castle Of Glass' for five shows in a row. 'Over Each Other' returned to its regular spot in Act III, while a powerful performance of 'A Place For My Head' rocked Act IV. Mike delivered some goods to the crowd throughout the night, playing the intro of 'Pushing Me Away' on his keyboard during the extended intro of 'Overflow' and delivering the second verse of 'When They Come For Me' during his solo medley. The action never stops on the From Zero World Tour!

We're sure Linkin Park's first show in Oregon in over twenty years will stun fans in the area no matter what they whip out, but we're certain that they'll surprise all of us following along at home with the set, as well! Portland is lined up for Set B ('Iridescent' theme), which was last played in Los Angeles, California last weekend. The last performance of the set saw the following rotations: 'Crawling,' 'Up From The Bottom,' and 'Lying From You' in Act I; 'Stained,' 'Castle Of Glass,' and 'IGYEIH' in Act II; the live debut of 'Unshatter' in Act III, and 'Over Each Other' in Act IV. After skipping it in Sacramento, we'll have our eyes peeled for another performance of 'Unshatter,' and with 'Cut The Bridge' being performed in San Jose, Linkin Park has played the entirety of From Zero live in the last week - almost. Only one song has been missing from the sets since the band's one week break early in the month: 'Let You Fade.' Will we see it return tonight? Having all three bonus tracks from From Zero in one set would be a feat, and off the top of my head, probably the first time since the Hybrid Theory World Tour that something similar has happened.

Linkin Park performing 'A Place For My Head' live at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California on September 17, 2025. Having seen the song return to the set personally last year, it's sounding better than ever lately!

Who's heading to the show? JPEGMAFIA will be opening the night with his indie hip-hop blend, and will be bringing the vibes with songs like 'SIN MIEDO' and 'Lean Beef Patty.' Be sure to catch his set if you can make it early! Weatherman Rogue Soul here to report that a pleasant and warm Pacific Northwest day is ahead, with temperatures hitting a high of 82°F and reaching a low of 57°F at night - it'll get chilly as you leave the venue, so be sure to have something warm prepared for the end of the night! After this show, the band has two more shows left of their North American leg: they return to Canada for a show in Vancouver, British Columbia on Sunday before wrapping things up in Seattle, Washington on Wednesday. The band will be off for the month before wrapping up their long year of touring in October and November for a proper South American leg, kicking off in Bogotá, Colombia on October 25.

With all the recent Linkinpedia updates we've been doing as far as the show pages show, we'd like your help in expanding them further! We are looking for pictures or scans of a number of items from the band's 2025 tour, including wristbands, tickets, setlists, exclusive pop-up store content, and more. If you have anything to contribute, check out our thread on the matter and submit your pictures directly to us - if they meet the mark we will get them uploaded to the show pages and credit you (and also blur your information out where applicable)! Be sure to check out the site to see our recent changes to the show pages (including marked rotation songs, album breakdowns, and more statistics) if you haven't already, and enjoy the upgrades to our LPLive and Linkinpedia servers with faster loading times on both sites! We've also recently launched an LPLive Newsletter for those looking for more of a TL;DR version of what's going on with the tour than my pre-show posts - we'll be sending it out every couple of weeks so as to not flood your inbox, but we'll be bringing you an overview of both tour and general news updates in these, so be sure to sign up if you haven't already!

We'll have you covered on everything the band does at this show and everything they whip out for the rest of the year, so be sure to sign up on the forums and follow us on social media (Twitter/XInstagramFacebook)!

I got to see them!  Ive been listening to Linkin Park before One Step Closer was played on the radio stations for the first time!  I tried and tried to get to a concert to see Chester and team, but Navy deployments took the one chance i had to see them away.  Honestly, after the concert, my one though is Chester would ABSOLUTELY approve of her singing his songs.  She was phenomenal, and so was everyone else!  I hope they come to PDX again soon, as ill be there for sure!
