Julien-K Twitter confirms DBS live in Europe/Asia

Jesus this is going to suck if DBS is playing IN the actual LP set like they are doing for Epicenter. Maybe some of you like it but I think that is very selfish on Chester's part. And also it's highly likely that LP will simply the setlists if DBS adds like 3-5 songs to the LP set. Imagine rehearsals. "Na, let's not do APFMH or RME since we have to keep the DBS songs in the set; let's just do the singles instead".

 

I hope DBS is doing their own set but it sure doesn't sound like it. Ehhhhhhhhh

 

Who really cares ? Okay, so it would be cool to hear LP play APFMH or any other songs we've been waiting for, but seriously, almost a decade old music or new material ? What would you rather ? There are a million rips of old songs, and about 4 full rips of any DBS song.

 

The only thing i could think of that would make me come even close to agreeing with you is if LP played something new, and not New Divide. But that doesn't look like its gonna happen, and we've been waiting far longer for DBS anyway. Or DBS and LP both have full sets and we hear everything. But it's not like your missing much with LP.

What I honestly don't really get is why they are flying in all the guys of Julien-K if they only play like 3-5 songs with Chester every night. Isn't this way too expensive and complicated considering that short amount of on-stage time?

 

Therefore I kinda refuse to believe that there won't be any more than that. Maybe Julien-K will be the surprise openers of these shows, and they just won't announce it?? Or DBS will actually be opening the shows and not be squeezed into the LP set? Or maybe DBS are doing some press showcases, interviews, or secret headliner shows (that they can't announce yet) in between the LP dates? All of this would actually make a lot more sense to me than just the fact that the guys are just flying over to have their 20 minutes of stage time with Chester *lol* Or maybe only Ryan and Amir are joining the tour trek, and Chester is doing acoustic sets with them, just this time backed up by LP on drums, bass, and keys?

 

I guess we need to have some more patience to find out all these things *laughs*
