LPLStaff Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Following successful poster runs on North American Tours in 2008 and 2012, Linkin Park has taken advantage of the recent popularity in show posters by debuting new posters for 2025 concerts. The Linkin Park Underground emailed fans yesterday, "LPU Passport Plus members will have first access to pre-order exclusive, limited-edition tour posters for each LINKIN PARK headline show. The band has commissioned some of their favorite artists to create unique artwork for these posters, which will be released in batches and only sold online." These online posters are limited - Mexico City's on the Linkin Park store for LPU members says, "Each hand-numbered print is limited to 200 copies and is printed on 18" x 24" heavy cold press cotton rag 300gsm paper with a deckle edge." And as a complete surprise to fans, there is a run of 10 posters per show that are signed by Linkin Park! The store says, "Signed by the band, each hand-numbered print is limited to 10 copies and is printed on 18" x 24" heavy cold press cotton rag 300gsm paper with a deckle edge." These are the first signed items sold by Linkin Park with the new band lineup and also makes them the first signed merch sold by the band in a significant amount of time. The Mexico City posters that were signed sold out within minutes, but the remaining Mexico shows took a few hours to sell their 10 copies. Currently it is unknown what "full band" exactly means in this context - Brad or Alex, or no guitarist. We will see when they start to arrive in the mail. Accordingly, we will be updating show pages to archive this information to get the show posters added as well as the information on each one. The band has also launched new From Zero World Tour official merch, including a 2025 tour poster with all of the stops, updated shirts, and more. These items come following the band's Mexico City pop-up store, which they featured on social media with exclusive merch before announcing that Tokyo, Japan would have the next pop-up store in February. It appears that at least the Mexico pop-up store featured additional exclusive posters, not sold online. It is unknown yet if these will be sold at venues as well. We will be sure to keep you updated on the tour as more show posters are released as the band makes their way through the 2025 touring slate. Quote
JZLP-Benningstrong Posted January 31 Posted January 31 The Aztec poster its very cool the other two are super generic. I would only buy it if its signed but im not really interested. im looking forward to obtain the setlist that the real gem. Quote
LPLStaff Posted January 31 Author Posted January 31 As an avid collector of other rock band posters, this is a great move. The 2008 and 2012 posters sold so quickly and are almost impossible to find now online. Definitely will grab some of these 2025 ones. Quote
AwesomeLP Posted January 31 Posted January 31 It would be awesome to have a page on LinkInpedia for all these exclusive posters, including the ones from previous years. They are so cool and rare. Quote
Hybrid1988 Posted January 31 Posted January 31 (edited) Posted in shoutbox but saying in here in the thread as well. Giving LPU first dibs to pre order show posters is such a legendary move. This makes snagging one so much less stressful. The poster scene is inundated by scalpers so not having to worry so much about competing against them is a relief. Nobody treats their fans better than this band I swear. The Cure did something similar with their posters but for the most part, a move like this is pretty rare or non-existent. Any fan of bands like DMB, Tool, NIN, etc. can attest to how stressful the poster scene can be. Going to try for a signed LA but will be happy with an unsigned just to avoid the hassle at the show. LeonardoMF93 Posted February 1 Posted February 1 The idea of the limited posters was brilliant. Last year, they noticed that demand was high, and the quantities were increasing with each show. Now, for some reason, the quantity has decreased again. My biggest criticism is that last year's designs were quite generic, but these from Mexico are absolutely stunning. I just didn't understand one thing: will any LPU member be able to buy the posters (signed or not) even without attending the shows and being in another country? Another question: the posters are numbered, but is the count the same for those sold at the venue and online? Lastly, I just wanted to comment on these exclusive show shirts that only change colors to match the country's flag. These shirts are ridiculously ugly, and the fabric quality is terrible. This Mexico one is so ugly, my God! 2 hours ago, JZLP-Benningstrong said: The Aztec poster its very cool the other two are super generic. He always has setlists. Quote
