unksoldier2000
Here in Brazil we have this discussion, a Brazillian band named "Charlie Brown Jr" has a song named "O Côro Vai Comer" (which was released in 1997).. the riff reminds "A Place For My Head" riff... when did the original Xero's "Esaul" was recorded? back in 97 (or before maybe)? Fun fact, They already opened three Linkin Park Concerts] 1. Chimera Music Festival, 2004 (The first time LP played in Brazil) 2. A unknown Japan concert, Charlie Brown Jr's singer sayed that they opened the show on a interview. 3. Arena Anhembi, 2012 (The band ended in 2013 due the death of two members) Edited September 9, 2020 by MS2000 Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/14348-linkin-parks-a-place-for-my-head-riff/ Share on other sites

lpliveusername
"There was a Linkin Park show a day before the one we played there, 2 thousand in attendance. I brought 6 thousand people. Then we played in Nagoya too for a stadium with over 8 thousand people." So they didn't open for Linkin Park there. Still, what he said doesn't sound right. This is the venue they played in Nagoya, not a stadium: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nagoya_International_Exhibition_Hall International tour dates: https://www.boadiversao.com.br/guia/rio-de-janeiro/Noite/noticia/id/35219/rio_festa_Charlie_Brown_Jr._faz_turnê_internacional.2417 If you check our 2004 page, Linkin Park didn't play in Japan that year: https://lplive.net/2004/ When Charlie Brown Jr. played in Japan, Joe was there working on the Breaking The Habit video: The rest of the band was in Los Angeles rehearsing for the European Tour according to the tour itineraries we have. MetalNacional
I remember that discussion from the Orkut days hah... They sound a little bit similar, this band was cool, sad how they ended. The "estádio" part might not be literally though, at least I dont remember we using any word for Exhibition Hall other than that or "arena".
