The Post Traumatic Tour is finally hitting the west! Mike's next stop on the Outbreak Tour takes him to Las Vegas, Nevada tonight at the House Of Blues.

Mike's last show took place in Dallas, Texas (coincidentally also at the local House Of Blues), and it was surprising perhaps in the least surprising way. For the first time since this tour began, Mike actually followed the setlist as it was, which was in and of itself surprising! Most shocking about this more hip-hop oriented set was that it was the first headlining show to not feature 'Roads Untraveled' and 'Sorry For Now.' All the same, it featured several big tracks to fill the spaces: 'Until It Breaks,' 'In Stereo,' and 'When They Come For Me' were all featured in the set to make sure things kept jamming. The show opened with 'Robot Boy' and 'World's On Fire,' while the encore opened with 'Petrified' (the first time the song was performed in awhile - the first performance of the song since Atlanta, Georgia). 'I.O.U.' was featured in the encore for the first time in a minute, and featured an acapella intro for the first time. A fairly subtle show for Mike, but a surprising one nonetheless!

Watch Mike and the band perform 'Papercut' live in Dallas, Texas. This part of the show, including the transitions from 'About You' and 'Over Again,' are always some of the most unforgettable parts of every show.

It hasn't been long since Mike was last in Las Vegas. Linkin Park performed their One More Light Release Show there last year, performing awesome tracks like 'Talking To Myself' (preceded by the amazing 'Fallout' and 'Roads Untraveled' mashup intro) and 'Battle Symphony.' This show also featured Chester singing Depeche Mode's 'Strangelove' over the bridge of 'Bleed It Out' for the only time ever. Prior to that, Linkin Park visited Las Vegas a lot - it's one of the band's most popular destinations, with a total of 19 shows played there over the course of their career. The very first show they played there was in 2000, opening for the Kottonmouth Kings' 'Ridin High' Tour. They returned the next year on the Street Soldiers Tour, where Ryu and Tak of Styles Of Beyond joined the band for 'Points Of Authority,' and Taproot's Stephen Richards joined them for 'A Place For My Head.' Las Vegas was the final stop of Projekt Revolution 2002, where the band performed rarities like a cover of the Deftones' 'My Own Summer (Shove It),' 'Step Up,' and 'It's Goin' Down' (the latter of which is a possibility for Mike's show tonight)! On the Meteora Tour, the band performed at 2003's Boost Mobile Pro of Skateboarding, a special event that saw the live debuts of 'Numb' and 'Figure.09.' The band returned again the next year, during 2004's Meteora North American Tour.

Linkin Park's first shows in Las Vegas on the Minutes To Midnight Tour were all special events. Playing three events in three days, the band started with a short performance at a Halo 3 / VMA Party in October 2007, followed by a special show for Rolling Stones' 40th Anniversary. The band ended off the weekend in Vegas with a performance at the MTV VMAs, performing 'Bleed It Out' with a special intro by Timbaland. The band returned in 2008 for two nights at The Joint @ Hard Rock Hotel, the first night featuring a shortened setlist (barring 'Given Up' and 'Valentine's Day') due to Chester being sick, and the second night featuring a different set (with a rare combo of 'Wake' and 'Lying From You'), still shortened due to Chester not feeling well. The band's show there on the A Thousand Suns North American Tour was the first after a string of cancelled dates (due to, of course, Chester being sick). The band played a warm up show there later that year, opening with a rare performance of the MTM Tour Version of 'Cure For The Itch,' the first time the song had been performed since 2008. Linkin Park performed two special events in Las Vegas in 2012 on the Living Things cycle, the first being a performance of 'Burn It Down' at the Billboard Music Awards and the other being a unique set at the iHeartRadio Music Festival. The band's first show of 2013 was at Vegas' Planet Hollywood, the first full show to feature 'Castle Of Glass.' The band played two shows in Vegas at the very start of 2014, the first being at the Harman Infinity One Launch, which featured the very first full band performance of 'A Light That Never Comes,' and the second being a special Music For Relief event which featured the first performance of 'Wake' since 2008. The band returned again in 2015 to perform at the inaugural Rock In Rio USA that took place in Vegas, changing the set to open with 'Papercut' and feature the live debut of 'A Line In The Sand.' Aaron Pauley of Of Mice & Men joined the band for the Ballad Medley, and Austin Carlile joined them for 'Faint.'

As you can tell, Linkin Park has a long and awesome history in Las Vegas. Watch their full performance at 2015's Rock In Rio USA in Las Vegas, Nevada, featuring awesome moments like the new intro for 'Papercut,' the live debut of 'A Line In The Sand,' and guest appearances by members of Of Mice & Men.

There's no telling what happens tonight in Vegas. The setlists change wildly between every show, and almost everything changes on a nightly basis. The opening song could be any of the following: 'Welcome,' 'When They Come For Me,' 'Remember The Name,' 'Robot Boy,' and 'Petrified.' The encore opener slot has even more options. The only thing set in stone is 'Running From My Shadow' closing the show - and who knows whether that'll change or not! The band soundchecked 'Invisible' for the very first time (that we know of), so it's possible we see the song played soon. Other songs that we're waiting on are 'Waiting For Tomorrow' and 'High Road,' the first of which Mike said he'd like to play at some point on the tour. All we can do is wait and see what comes during the set - and given how Vegas treats Mike, we're sure it'll be something unforgettable.

Who's going to the show? LPLive staff member Randee will be there, so if you see her be sure to say hi! Be sure to stop by the Vegas tribute to Chester while you're there, and check out the giant screens on Fremont Street which are playing Linkin Park songs. Mike continues up the west coast for his next shows, first stopping with a televised performance on The Late Late Show With James Corden on November 1 before his own headlining shows in California, including stops in Los Angeles and Anaheim (which will both feature an opening set from grandson - look out for live collabs on 'Running From My Shadow!'), as well as a festival set at the Deftones' Dia De Los Deftones in San Diego - the perfect opportunity to debut 'Lift Off.'

We'll be keeping you updated on everything that happens at this show, so be be sure to follow us on Twitter and Facebook for the latest updates, and join the LPLive Discord for discussion with fans around the world (a couple members from the Discord will be at this show - be sure to say hi)!
