[AndOne] Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Haha yes, pretty confusing that there's a city called Ontario in California. Korn and STP? that sounds a little weird but ok. Quote
Geki Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Citizens Business Bank Arena is in Ontario, California. AH. My bad lol. But yeah, KoRn and STP at the same show seems a bit odd. Isn't Chester friends with Jon Davis, though? Quote

Skipees Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 December's just a time for all these Christmas festivals in the warmer places. I don't see any specific reason to play them besides promoting the EP.Maybe it's cheaper to do festivals than tour. Quote
[AndOne] Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 The advantage of festivals is usually to play for a wider audience. People see bands they'd probably not see otherwise and maybe become a new fan. From a band's perspective I guess playing festivals is a lot easier than doing a solo tour. A not successful tour can easily end up in a big loss of money. STP is still in the phase of building a new solid fanbase. Their recent US tour was pretty short and not really a success attendance wise. They have to build a whole new reputation not only because of Chester but also because the damage the "brand" took in the last few years under Scott. Quote
