    - "The next night, Saturday April 28 we head over to the Marquee in Phoenix – well its in Tempe Arizona, to be precise. It’s a double bill with Frank’s other band Street Drum Corps – and, being Phoenix, you never know what special guest might just show up and help us out on a song or 3. Oh, and did I mention SDC are also playing Viper Room, but the stage is too small for a double bill, so they play there Thursday April 26. Its going to be a pretty epic 3 night run for Frank. Who wants to give him a Massage on Sunday?"

    - The performance was canceled on April 23, 2012 with no announcement by the band. It is unknown why it was canceled. Ticket purchasers were sent an email by Etix.

    - A 2017 interview with Frank Zummo mentioned this show, "Going further down the road, Julien-K’s drummer left them right before a tour, and they said, “Hey, we’re doing this tour in Europe. Would you want to do this?” And I was like, “Of course.” We went out to Europe for two weeks, and on that tour, they asked me if I would want to be part of Dead By Sunrise. I was like, “100 percent.” We were going to do a show together in Arizona, where Julien-K were going to play with Street Drum Corps, and Chester was living in Arizona. We were going to do an unannounced, surprise reunion show. Last minute, it wound up not working out."

    Here we are, in Helsinki, on the edge of entering Russia for our shows supporting MSI in St. Petersburg and Moscow, with all of our travel and hotels booked and paid for – and as of the last 24 hours, we have learned that the support that we NEED to get into the country appears to be incomplete. I don't want to give a lot of complicated details, but we did everything we could do to get in, but it was impossible for us to finally get the invitation and paperwork needed to enter the country.

     

    Unfortunately this means we are NOT going to be able to play the Russian dates. We now understand why so many small, independent bands have trouble getting in there to play!

     

    We are very, very sorry. We are DEVASTATED actually, as we all booked extra days in Moscow after the show to enjoy Russia and hang out with our amazing friends & fans.

     

    @MSI is an amazing band, and I suggest you go see their performance! I also would LOVE it if you would take a picture of yourself and your tickets and post them on our Facebook timeline. We are working on a special “we're sorry” gift for those of you who bought tickets to see us.
