- Mudvayne's lead singer remarked at one point, "Mudvayne and Linkin Park, who would've thought? I guess it's the best of both worlds."
- After Mudvayne, the audience was treated to The JT Experience, a friend of Linkin Park, who performed a three-song acoustic set (including a cover of Aha's "Take on Me"), which was a drastic change from the hard rock sound of Mudvayne and Cold. Amid boos and thrown objects, Chester ran out trying to shield him, and attempted to calm the crowd down. The JT Experience finished his set, despite bleeding from the face from something that was thrown. You can see two pictures of this event below, courtesy of Autumn H. The first picture is of JT playing, and the second is a picture of Chester running out to shield him.

Bennington remains hospitalized as doctors are still trying to determine the cause of these ailments. All touring and video shoot plans in Europe have been put on hold this month as we make sure Chester fully recovers. We wish him the best, and will keep everyone posted as to his condition."
- Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, 3 Doors Down and Steve-0 (who was still in jail) all canceled their appearances at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park 2003. Placebo was the official replacement announced on the 4th before the festival. Pinkpop switched its schedule around (after being asked by Marek Lieberberg Konzertagentur) to make Placebo be able to play Rock am Ring and Rock im Park so that their gear is there in time.
Tour Diary:First of all I'd like to thank everyone from fans & bands to my friends, and the hospital staff who have been very supportive and understanding of my situation. I finally got out of the hospital over the weekend after 9 days, and the doctor instructed me to rest for the next 2 - 3 weeks. Right now it seems like it was some bacteria or virus that spread throughout my intestines and body, putting me in intense pain. It also would not let me eat for a week. My doctors and nurses were amazing, and very helpful during my stay.
We are working on when we will be making up the missed European headline dates, and I am really bummed we had to miss the festivals. I plan on playing our warm up show in Las Vegas on June 27th, and ripping everyone's face off this summer on SUMMER SANITARIUM. I also wanted to say I truly appreciate the tens of thousands of get-well emails I got from fans. Our fans really are the best in the world.
-Chester

Bennington remains hospitalized as doctors are still trying to determine the cause of these ailments. All touring and video shoot plans in Europe have been put on hold this month as we make sure Chester fully recovers. We wish him the best, and will keep everyone posted as to his condition."
- This show was made up on September 8, 2003 at the Vistalegre Bullring.
- Linkin Park was not headlining this show. They were the direct support for Metallica. When they cancelled, In Flames replaced them and opened the show before Stone Sour.
-Chester

- After 'By Myself', Mike talked about how the band was letting all military personnel stationed near a venue on the tour come to the show for free due to current situations (the Iraqi war, etc).
- Mike gave a shoutout to Rocky Rock and Supernat, two acts that played earlier that day, after 'Hit The Floor'. He also mentioned all of the other bands on the bill: Blindside, Xzibit and Mudvayne.
- This was the first ever performance of 'P5hng Me A*wy'. Mike introduced it as "something special".
- Christian, the lead singer of Blindside, sang the ending of the song and came out again on 'One Step Closer'.
- 'Nobody's Listening' was extended and Xzibit rapped a verse from 'My Name' over it.
- This is the only known show of the tour with this setlist. It is assumed (but not known for sure) that the band changed it right after this show.
Debut(s):- This was the first performance of 'P5hng Me A*wy' and 'Nobody's Listening'.
Other Notes:- A group named Guerilla Union All-Stars treated the audience to different performances on breaks between the sets. They consisted of freestyle emcee Supernatural, DJ Rocky Rock and breakdancer Ivan The Urban Action Figure.

Please be sure to check back here on projektrevolution.com for further updates for the next couple of shows as we will be reevaluating Chester’s condition daily." Chester recovered after this show and the next day, a post on the websites said that the rest of the tour was on.
- A fan who was at the venue said, "Even though this concert was cancelled at the last minute (we were in the parking lot before concert time when we found out), almost everybody in the various bands (except Chester of Linkin Park, who was the reason for the cancellation, being "sick" / later heard hungover) were signing autographs behind a barricade of folding tables outside. I was able to get the autographs of Mike Shinoda & Brad Delson."
- There is an LPTV episode from 2007 that covers Projekt Revolution 2003 and it shows a M&G that was allegedly from this show. We assume that the show and date listed on the LPTV is a mistake and it is really from another show on the tour.
