    - March 20th, 2001 article written by Mike Galaxy reads: "Formerly Halogen, Dr. Lady was one of Music Connection's best 100 unsigned bands of 2000. The band has had several gigs recently including opening for Slash at the House of Blues and for Hybrid Theory at the Troub". The band has changed it's name to Dr. Lady around early 2001, so they definitely were still called Halogen at the time. The band then ultimately changed it's name to Orson. Mike Galaxy has confirmed the show for LPLive in November 2016.

    - In the LPU chat on April 20th, 2015 Brad said his 2015.04.18 appearance at the Jakob Dylan show was his first time performing at The Troubadour. He discussed working at the Roxy and playing other clubs in Los Angeles both growing up and with Linkin Park, but said he had never played The Troubadour until this show, so it was an exciting moment for him. However, Lee Cadena's (Rap Editor at Urban Network Magazine and the creator of the Rapology CD series that started an artist management and development company in 1998 called LCM which worked with Xero) bio reads: "The first group he consulted was Xero, they changed their name to Hybrid Theory and Lee would introduce them at famous Hollywood spots like, The Whiskey and The Troubadour", so it's possible Brad is not actually correct on that statement.

    - The Pricks opened Hoobastank's (spelled Hoobustank at the time) very first show in the summer of 1995 at Doug Robb's parents' backyard.

    - Hoobastank filmed their set in VHS. It was confirmed by Dan Estrin in an interview to AltWire in 2022 that the VHS includes The Pricks footage as well.

    - Members of both bands had been friends since long before The Pricks was formed and to prepare for the show they stole stages from their local high school in the middle of the night, set them up in Doug's backyard and hired security, charging a dollar for admission. Around 150 people were in attendance.

    Somewhere In Middle America - Tuesday, August 8th, 2000:

    We're sitting at a TA Travel Center eating and playing video games. Something is wrong with our RV, and our mechanic has ordered a new part. Last night we stayed in Oklahoma City enroute to Texas, where we will be playing four shows. We are on the home stretch of this tour, and are totally inspired by how much fun the shows have been. Kitt's Korner in Madison, Wisconsin went off extra hard as did our show in Grand Rapids. Systematic, who joined the tour in Michigan, is a rad band and is super fun to play with. Off-stage they specialize in home-made fireworks displays. Let's just hope all our gear remains in tact until our Roxy show August 16th. We'll see our LA people soon.     - The show took place on Halloween, which was Chester and Sam's anniversary (Chester mentions it during the show).

    - This was Scott Koziol's last show with Linkin Park. According to Jeff Blue's "One Step Closer: From Xero to #1: Becoming Linkin Park" book, a couple of days after Halloween he had lunch with Brad and Phoenix who announced Phoenix was returning to the band.

    - In late 2000, fansites posted that Linkin Park would be performing on an upcoming episode of "Farmclub." LPLive found this while researching the band's past history and in 2017 finally figured out what it was. On July 21st, the day after Chester passed, Jonathan Solin posted on Facebook, "Years ago, when I worked for the great Farmclub, I was sent to interview an unknown band at the old Palace in Hollywood. We interviewed Linkin Park in a ratty dressing room at the venue and they came off as young, likeable, funny, goofy guys. When interview over, Chester ran down street to give us free tix to the show that night. It was a great show. We never aired that segment cuz they weren't known yet. A month later, the album came out and exploded. They had a ton of hits and I liked them very much. This was the song they played for us that day." This confirms the date and performance. The video is unreleased.

    Tour Diary:

    We just got done playing Laga in Pittsburgh. The show was awesome; there was a line of kids around the block to see the show. The place was packed, and we did our best to entertain. It all went well, the crowd was probably one of the largest and most energetic yet, and subsequently we spent the next two/three hours after the show meeting all the (mostly new) fans and giving them tapes to listen to.     - This date was discovered in January 2018 when researching Hybrid Theory (band) dates.

    - Reportedly, almost no one came to the show. The band took a long time to get prepared to play and ran way into their set time. The promoter told them to end their set and the band refused, so the promoter cut the sound and the band continued playing with the power to the PA off.

    - According to a different report, the band had technical problems with instruments and microphones during the show. Chester got so pissed, he threw his mic and left the stage, but Mike rushed after him promising everything will get fixed.

    - According to a member of the band Size 5, Hybrid Theory opened for Size 5 that night. The band consisted of Jay and John Kereny (Lemon Krayola), Barton Applewhite (Kongo Shock) and Chuck Moore - close friends of Chester and Grey Daze. Size 5 also served as Chester's backing band for his pre-production live session when he was preparing himself to record his audition tape for Xero. The band was also thanked by Chester in Hybrid Theory booklet.

    - According to a concert listing from Arizona Republic's August 26th, 1999 issue, the band PHD were the headlining act for the night.

    - According to Jeff Blue's book, the band decided to change their name from Hybrid Theory to "Plear" on May 1, 2000. A few days after May 9, 2000, they changed it again to Linkin Park.
    - "Interesting footnote about May 27, they told the fans they were changing the name from the tiny 10x10 stage that night, I'm not sure but that could be the first show they played as Linkin Park. They may have played under the new name in Cali prior but I really dunno."
