I think we (or most of us) were expecting something better or actually, music by LINKIN PARK.
For me, it's not a shitty CD ., even if it's done just by Mike and Chester. What I really don't like is that they used lpu to release this stuff... ... I think if they would have released these songs in another way ... it would have been better and I think we all would have enjoyed them more than we are doing it right now.
Anyway ... I hope we can get some of real LINKIN PARK stuff soon...
-
hmmmm, i think it is some sorta fake thing, but i really dont know what it could be
Well, it's true. It's confirmed on the LPU home page. The CD is called 'Songs From the Underground'.
About the news, it's cool that they're really into making this new album, but the bad thing is that they are always are thinking on touring the US and Europe after 8 years doing the same. C'mon guys, try new places !

I think I'm the only one who thinks that Reanimation it's an horrible album, and the worst lp album by far.
The only remix I really like it's P5hng Me A*wy , and the decent ones are Pts.Of.Athrty, WTH>YOU, By_Myslf and 1 Stp Klsr.

This is amazing. Another album to look forward next year.

I pre ordered it with the t-shirt yesterday =)

I will buy it when it arrives to Chile, I guess. (hopefully before the end of the year)

Happy Bday ! One of the best LP fan sites ever

Mike just posted on LP MB: http://forums.linkinpark.com/showthread.ph...999&page=7
here are a couple reasons we left a few songs off:
1.) There wasn't enough room on the CD (74 minutes is max, i think?)
2.) We wanted to leave some things for extras...you'll see.
-m
Now .... what about the DVD then ?
-
And the first thing I have to say is, What the FUCK are they smoking? Papercut and Points Of Authority are left off the DVD! You keep the 16 minutes of bullshit slow songs in the middle of the set and cut two of the best. Beautiful. You can definitely tell LPLive does not like this DVD. Why would you release a DVD of a show that's not complete? Way to go management.
I totally agree with you. It has no sense.
They can release half of the show on the CD if they want [we already have the DSP], but the DVD MUST have the whole thing.
As I said, I really hope they put cool extra content on the DVD, to make it worth the money.
First of all, I think this DVD is unecessary. But at least, if they decide to release a live concert, it should be the whole show, and with great angles and editing. I don't want another Live in Texas.

We are excited to announce the title and release date of the new live DVD/CD!
The winning title of the DVD/CD package, due out November 25th, is "ROAD TO REVOLUTION." Thanks to all the fans who submitted names and voted, and a special thanks to LPASIANOTTER who submitted the title.
Below is the track-listing of the CD/DVD filmed and recorded live at Milton Keynes, UK. Keep checking back here for more details and secret info!!

-
Mm .. I don't know. I guess we'll get one or two new songs (MTM b-sides, or songs they've done recently), an instrumental track , a remix of a Meteora or MTM song, and perhaps, a collaboration track. That's what I think. Well .. I'm dreaming ..
-
Hard decision ...
01.Breaking the Habit : Just a beautiful song. I think the strings and Chester's voice on this song are amazing.
02.QWERTY : Musically, it's amazing !! I also love how Chester can scream/sing in the live version.
03.In the End : First song I liked from Linkin Park. It'll be among my favorites forever.

Breaking the Habit

It was a good collaboration, but I don't really like Chris' vocals on Crawling. I don't know, maybe a 'reanimated' version of One Step Closer with Chris singing Jonathan Davis' parts would have been better.

AWESOME album. I mean, I think LP really evolved with this album. There are boring songs like In Between for example, but the album is diverse, and that's cool.
My favorite songs are In Pieces and No More Sorrow.
-
It's a good album IMO , and I love Breaking the Habit.
-
Those songs are amazing. I'm still waiting for some official release of those live songs.
And I hope Chester can release this album next year. It's going to be great.

wow ! Ace of Spades sounds amazing !! That's my favorite one, and Paradise City was great too.
I think we're going to hear some of this 'rock 'n roll' Chester's singing style on Dead By Sunrise's album.
