  1. It doesn't make sense for their gear, band, crew to stay a week on another continent between shows. They have room for 3-4 shows during that week. It'd be a good time for them to try a new country, like Peru. Or return to Chile.

Very weird. I think they are working on something for another countries....

May is my bday too. lol

  2. A fact about the Metropol 2001, Pittsburgh DVD.

    Note from a local taper

"The Taper is Jeff Smittle. He was a major seller in the pittsburgh / cleveland record convention type market in the late 90's and early 00's. he was arrested in 2002 or 2003 and all of this tapes were destroyed. it was actually on the news here in pittsburgh. showed piles of videos being bulldozed on his driveway. his stuff isn't the easiest to find nowadays but it wasn't too uncommon on trade lists back then. you will never get a copy off the master because they were destroyed. also most of the ones he sold at record shows were technically 2nd generation VHS because he would make a "sub-master" copy and spin copies off that.

he wasn't a cool dude and lots of stuff got filmed because there was a market for it. i know sellers are universally frowned upon now, but back then it was a totally different game. he would pay off the bouncers at the clubs to let him do his thing. thats why his videos were always pretty good."

The guy made more than 250k U$ in money selling bootlegs... LOL. FBI destroyed 11.000 tapes at his home.

So... We will never get a master upgrade for this one and I also doubt a 1st gen.

  3. It's all blablabla (Not including US/Europe)... LP don't give a shit about what fans want. It all depends on logistic, offer, etc. LP Production Tour consist of 30 people + 6 band member + 1 guest for each member, total 42 people. If the offer dont cover all these costs + LP's price. The show won't happen!

For tours outside US and Europe it works as an auction. The best offer take it ;)

  4. Existing.

    LOOL.

For me It's the 'shorted songs versions'. I understand that they couldn't play the full song for some reason... I also understand that this bring the chance to hear a short version of your favorite song and that's better than not listening to anything.

I just don't like these shorter versions and these 'singing verse of other song over the current one"

    :)

  5. I hoped for a time when I got into trading, this show was recorded to VHS by same guy as AAC01 shows and HOB01 and a DVD from it surfaces sometime. It was about 10 years ago when I tought that, but looks like still nothing.

The HOB1 Las Vegas was recorded by Marshal (Down411) and he didn't record this one... According to some research, a real small number of people knew about this webcast.

The problem is they aren't going to just hand it over willingly to us. They have some master webcast file in a vault and it seems unlikely 15+ years later they'd just send it to a fansite. But it's worth a shot.

If we look always at this point, we would never got anything (?) We must find some person with a passion in being friendly and helping. Haha

Anyone can make a call? I have the numbers.

  6. Well.. It's not a secret that the 9th Annual KROQ Weenie Roast was webcasted on the site in 2001. Sadly we were not on the YouTube era and looks like nobody recorded it.

What can we do to get it? Who could call the radio asking for it?

It was webcasted...might have a way to get this. Somehow...

These kind of conversation is almost impossible to do through email. We need a volunteer to call them.

  7. Unless you can see that guy again on the same position during the rest of the show, then that's Mark Fiore. Almost every show had someone taping on the crowd or stage... Better you forget it if you won't lost night of sleep. Haha
