The crowd up front wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, I was quite comfortable in the pit area. The set consisted of "A Place for my head", "Papercut", "In The End", "With You", "runaway", a new song which I haven't heard before." Most likely it was 'And One'. 2. Chester: "Cyclefly is one of my favourite bands and their record [Generation Sap] is one of the best I've heard in a long time. And if you don't like it, YOU SUCK!" Ciaran of Cyclelfy: “He would come to our shows whenever we played the states, and he loved the first album, so we all became friends. He’s brilliant really. We were recording in LA, and he sent over some rough mixes (of Linkin Park‘s), so we sent him over our rough mixes as well, and we have kept track over the internet, and he heard the new album and picked up the phone and said “I want to sing on a song with you!!” so we did it. He’s just brilliant, he’s such a beautiful singer...” MCA marketing director Sig Sigworth : "Having Chester Bennington from Linkin Park singing on the song is incredible. It lends credibility to Cyclefly." Declan:"about us getting back it's always possible but no at the moment as my new project "MAKO" is doing good."

As everyone knows, (həd) p.e. song called is usually mislabeled as "Linkin Park - I Just Want Your Company". And now, we know the origin of this confusion. Chester joined (həd) p.e. on stage to help perform this track in 2000. At this time we only know about one show, when this collaboration occured: 05.12.2000 Columbus, OH, Newport Music Hall EDIT: One more - 30.11.2001 Cedar Rapids, IA, US Cellular

  8. It's time to announce the fact, which was not really a secret, but no one knew it for years. Check out 'Karma Killer with Chester' on Cyclefly's myspace page. As many of you might have noticed, it is a slightly different version than the one appeared on the Cyclefly's album "Crave". This version of the song is a remix, which was made by Bill Appleberry for a single release. Unfortunately, the band simply disappeared from the music scene due to their conflict with MCA Records and the single was never released.
  9. Thanks. I'm going to rewatch/relisten all my STP bootlegs from Family Values. So after that I'll fix everything that should be fixed.

  14. Paradise City is on the first post. I'm sorry, Revolution1985. I didn't check "Got News?" section.
  15. Posted by Mike on his blog: Chester sang with Camp Freddy tonight. It was a KILLER performance. Chester was unreal (as usual--that's my boy!). He graciously shared the stage with the incredible talent of: Dave Navarro (Jane's Addiction, Red Hot Chili Peppers), Slash & Matt Sorum (GnR, Velvet Revolver), Steve Stevenson (Billy Idol), Chris Cheney (The Living End), Billy Morrison (The Cult), Mark McGrath (Sugar Ray), Steve Jones (Sex Pistols), and Frankie Perez (Scars On Broadway). The guys basically get together and sing a night full of their favorite cover songs, which included songs like "Whole Lotta Love," "Paradise City," and "Rebel Yell." Check out these awesome youtube videos! Mountain Song Ace Of Spades Whole Lotta Love Update: Paradise City
  16. Offering us the choice between hearing his solo acoustic rendition of Jane’s Addiction’s “Jane Says” or one of his own compositions, the crowd elects the latter, and he strums his way through “The Morning After”, a song “written about sleeping in my car”. Source: http://www.phase9.tv/musicreviews/linkinpark-c.shtml P.S. I'll add this info to the show page later.

  20. Personally, I think that demo of QWERTY sounds far better than live version. I love this classic metal vibe.
  21. Linkin Park plan to enter a recording studio before December to track the as-yet-untitled effort, at about the same time the band's Road to Revolution: Live at Milton Keynes live CD/DVD is set hits stores on November 25. Bennington estimates that it will take six weeks to record the new album. He said the band would be open to working with Rick Rubin (who produced Minutes to Midnight) again on the project. They just haven't yet decided in whose hands they'd like to put their first conceptual album. Dead by Sunrise should be finished tracking the disc sometime in early 2009, with plans to release the set in spring. Source: http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1598768/2...nkin_park.jhtml Stone Temple Pilots recorded their greatest album "Purple" in 4 weeks. Me too
