Was anyone able to get a hold of a copy of the japanese CD+DVD version of "High Rise"?
Is there anything we haven't seen yet?
-
Big Empty was performed acoustic for the first time during the same "show" you mentioned in the previous note:- This is the first time that Chester sang acoustic versions of 'Interstate Love Song' and 'Big Empty' with Stone Temple Pilots.
- This was the first time that 'Pretty Penny' was performed since June 28th, 2013 (the first time Chester sang it with STP). That performance was also acoustic.
-
He didn't:Did Richard Patrick come out on Piece Of Pie?

The band will take a day off of their headlining USA Tour with Filter to play Rockwave at JetBlue Park in Fort Myers, Florida. Jane's Addition is headlining the festival with Stone Temple Pilots playing directly before them. Chevelle, Filter, Anberlin, Sunshine & Bullets, and Before The Fire will also be at the show.
Chester has performed 'Mountain Song' by Jane's Addiction numerous times with Camp Freddy, which consists of some of the Jane's Addiction members. Will be perform it at this show?

-
The intro of Interstate Love Song was NOT extended.
-
You are very welcome.
Pop's Love Suicide, Hollywood Bitch, Sex & Violence and Piece of Pie are the best performances of the show, in my opinion. Great tour so far.

For some reason i want them to Cover "Feel Good Inc" by the Gorillaz lol
There's a bit in "Cry Cry" that is pretty reminiscent of "Feel Good Inc".Funny, I used to imagine this a couple of years ago.
I always wanted Chester to perform "Wicked Garden". This song is not even in my Top 20 list of STP songs, but for some reason I always wanted to hear his take on this particular song. My wish came true in even better way. lol
I would love to hear Chester singing a song by Duran Duran.

There's something that needs correction in "Did you know?" thing“QWERTY” was the first Linkin Park song (and only to date) to premiere live without being recorded beforehand. It was first played in 2006 in Japan and then recorded for inclusion on the LPU 6 CD.
Wasn't the same with "A light that never comes"? I know that it premiered live before studio version of the song, but it's possible that they didn't record it beforehand.
You can hear vocal samples from the studio recording during the live performance.Check 1:00-1:03, for example:
Also, its impossible for EDM song to be performed live without it being recorded beforehand.

Faith No More - Epic
Elvis Presley - Jailhouse Rock
Public Enemy - Bring The Noise
Beastie Boys - Gratitude
Aerosmith - Dream On
Pink Floyd - Young Lust

The Roots - The Seed 2.0
Twisted Sister - I Wanna Rock
Jane's Addiction - Ocean Size
He did perform Helter Skelter though.

It amazes me how Chester is so consistent during this tour. He sounds great.

I do know them very well. Still need to listen to some of the recent recordings. I'll do it asap.Hey do you know the current songs very well that they are playing? I am trying to do setlist notes. BelowEmpty fans have given me 3 of them that I should use. Do you know of any more?

So far, I have Church On Tuesday having a new guitar solo at the end, Pop's Love Suicide having a new ending, and Sour Girl being the version they started playing in 2008 with a guitar solo.
However, just of top of my head, the things you mentioned are the only "big" changes. They are basically playing the album versions of the songs. Well except for "Silvergun Superman". The ending of the studio version was intentionally recorded as if the band screwed it up. So they never play it this way live, of course.
-
STP usually play 2000-5000 capacity venues for a non-festival US shows. I think it's a little bit too early to compare STP and STPWCB crowds, but this current tour is going very very well so far. I would say a bit better than the majority of STP shows from the last few years.

"Piece Of Pie" with Richard Patrick of Filter/Army Of Anyone:
-
You are very welcome.Thank you for the information.
Is it correct?:
Original - I haven't been the best with all that I had.
FVT 2001- I haven't been the best with all that I have.
Sounds like it is.

In the studio version, Scott sings "Know I'll be waitin' here alone" during the first two choruses and "Know you'll be safe but not alone" instead of it during the rest of the song. On "The Family Values" CD it's just "Know you'll be safe but not alone" all the way through the song. There are a few differences in the lyrics of Wonderful between Shangri-La Dee Da version and the Family Values 2001 Tour CD version. Now, since they're both studio versions, I wonder which lyrics the band used in the live version?
Scott always combined these lines differently during the shows.
The interesting fact is that it looks like he first started to sing Ah-Ah's over the solo AFTER the Family Values version was released.
Anyway, there's not too many live recordings from 2002 and the band never performed this song ever since they reunited in 2008. However, Scott performed it one or two times during his Christmas tour.
Don't watch the video unless you want to cringe in embarrassment for him. lol

I am not the best source when it comes to STP stuff, but the fact that I am a Global Moderator on BelowEmpty forums and a fan of Stone Temple Pilots and Scott Weiland for a longer time than 98% of LP community is definitely helps me to be able to run a thread like this.

Did I miss something?Additionally, lyrics for 'Black Heart' were seen

Pretty much the best sad love song in existence, in my opinion.
