That is exactly how it worked? If you bought it from a third party, how is Warner supposed to know about your purchase and your contact information? They can’t so they created a sign up page were you were able to register for replacements but they were only able to contact people who purchased it from them directly. I think there were people on here who registered for those replacements and also got them, even though they bought it from somewhere else. If you didn‘t get that information it is probably up to the company who handled distribution in your region.

When I say third-party, I mean the Warner distribution in Australia was handled by a company Warner chose. + There was never any talk about the replacement program coming to Australia, I’m yet to hear anyone here who had the opportunity as the UK/EU (some US) did.

They can't just do that. When someone subscribes to mailing list, the user gives consent for a very specific usage of the address they provided. In some areas of the world (e.g. the EU) regulations and laws around stuff like that got very strict and no sane company wants to screw around with it. Also imagine how many people who never bought the boxset would have signed up for the replacement if they knew it was freely available? As I said, the only reasonable solution would have been for Warner to make resellers aware and those resellers then contact their customers.

They can totally email the mailing list about the replacement (lack of) program. They always include news about LP to the mailing list - this is LP news: Easy. Could of. Didn’t though.

Guess what: I did. All of them. All with the same result "The sign up period has ended. There is nothing we can do"

    I bought it from Amazon

Like I said I am quite furious

    Yeah I’m quite annoyed too.

I spent a lot of money on this super-deluxe package which I was initially happy with but it’s now incredibly disappointing to hear that they will replace the faulty products for some global regions but other regions will ignore.

I reached out to the Australian company that distributed for Warner and they replied with one line “Sorry, this has gone past the return policy.”.

Maybe I should of reacted sooner, but I feel like a lot of us were patiently waiting for Warner to ‘reach out’ to the customers affected - now time has passed.

Warner should have set up a Replacement program, so for those affected can register for a replacement instead of the other way around because obviously that didn’t work as well.

  3. This hype behind Spatial Audio (Dolby Atmos) is from the recent Apple Music release - all subscribers get free access to Lossless and Atmos tracks.

I’ve listened to the dolby HT on supported headphones (Airpods Max and AirPods Pro) and it’s an awesome fresh experience. I thought Chester was behind me in my apartment at first - you feel surrounded by the instruments.

Though there are some issues with this Atmos mix such as the intro to Forgotten  is cut (most likely a mistake) but questions if this was rushed by the label.

I’d personally would love to hear from the band, especially Mike on how and if they played a role in this new mix, plus if they/label plan to release the full studio albums with Dolby atmos?

ATS in Dolby atmos would be an incredible experience! 😍 imagine the crickets on Empty Spaces in Dolby atmos 😆

All of the music video footage in the trailer is widescreen, except One Step Closer. I think some of them are upgraded.

To echo: the footage used in the trailer is for sure HD compared to the standard definition currently on YouTube. So hopefully management replace the current 480p for 1080p

Fuse was likely not recorded in studio after the Xero tape. That's why. Same about Reading My Eyes with Chester, probably never recorded it with him.

Part of Me is the only song that logically seems to be left out for some reason, yes.

POM, could be saved for future LPU disc? I wonder if they plan on ever doing them again

I think Derek/ LPLIVE co are trying to avoid spoilers - maybe we should wait until the guys announce in the webmeeting before posting links?

Agreed. Example: For years we all assumed Brad didn’t do much in the band. Then we find out he’s the secret sauce, the mastermind producer in the studio around the ATS era. Lmao.

LP was very involved on this.

Yeah, as Mike caught up with the ‘Be/In Yourself’ = PB reveal on his latest stream, he mentioned how the guys, Adam and even Rob’s parents were involved.

It just hit me that we are possibly finally getting a mastered high quality  ‘Reading My Eyes’ !  We only have a lower quality RME from the Xero tape, and then the live recorded RME from the LPU 6.0.

Mike spitting these words out, so good!

Is HT going to be remastered?

    Is it necessary?

From the corrupted music files on the website to Mike leaking the “mastered” files on twitch - I’m feeling it’ll be a ‘remastered’ HT with the new tracks (from website) package.

If this is true, begs the forever tricky question - do i listen to the remastered or original release? 😅

  9. It is highly likely that the footage does not belong to him and it's surely not for sale by Warner.

Do you think that, that is the reason why it take so long for videos of the LPTV and LPUTV to come out.

Mark has to organise his collection of video clips.

He then has to edit the videos together/ render the videos.

And then do the videos go through Warner or Linkin Park?

And then finally the LP HQ and the LPU Team get the videos and upload them.

(That would be a long process.) Can anyone confirm the actually process? Im curious now.

  10. Does anyone know a way I can contact Mark Fiore??? I would like to ask him if there is any possible way I could purchase footage that he took of Linkin Park at the Houdini House in 2006/2007.

Thats a good question. Im not sure if he would want to be contacted to be honest. I want to contact him too. Talking to him at the LPU SUMMIT in SYDNEY, He doesnt like the 'lime' light and/or trys to avoid it.
