Sunday was epic. From the second Emily arrived on that Youtube stream I was pumped listening to her, but I wish any doubters left out there could hear her on Sunday. Even my Wife who loves the band, but just as a casual fan, rather than my mania around them said - Emily sounds better on some songs. I said sacrilege but it's also the beauty of her voice now, that it adds a different dynamic. I was so pumped to hear my favourites in a different voice but with the same passion. I felt like genuine PTSD and was really anxious before the show. When the legend passed away, I found it really hard to listen to LP again. They were the soundtrack to my life. It took a long time to get back into them without fear of falling into the same darkness. I felt good about it all, but Sunday night it all came rushing back. But when that light hit in the middle, so did the flow of tears. Like almost bawling, looking like a muppet. A release of pent up history and then it was on like donkey kong. The mix of the audience of ages and favourite songs. Back at it tonight, this time in the pit with Early Entry to just release years of energy in a way that is more intimate and closer. I'll be the other ginger tonight look to hear High Voltage - I've been petitioning for a verse for the last 2 tours...!

Small world, that was me that asked for him to play it! I was keen on getting up there and doing it with him. I remember someone asked him to play hands held high one concert and he did so I was hoping that he could do it accapella. He seemed like a really cool dude! My heart nearly had a heart attack when he said about the fan asking him!
