  1. I'll withhold my set until the album actually drops and I find what I like, lol. Until then, here's a set I would like without the songs we haven't heard yet:

    01. Tinfoil

    02. The Catalyst

    03. What I've Done

    04. Given Up

    05. Points of Authority

    06. With You

    07. Runaway

    08. Blackout

    09. New Divide

    10. Waiting For The End

    11. Somewhere I Belong

    12. Lies Greed Misery

    13. Figure.09

    13. Burning In The Skies

    15. LOATR/SOTD/Iridescent (Medley)

    16. Burn It Down

    17. When They Come For Me

    18. Faint

    ---------------------------------------------

    19. A Place For My Head

    20. Papercut

    21. Bleed it Out

    22. One Step Closer

There we go. Pure sex. I really did give the big middle finger to Breaking The Habit, Numb, and Crawling... Sorry.

  2. I'm buying Berlin the minute it comes out, no questions asked.

I'd be curious to see what you think of RaR whenever you get to it. There were several reports of a bit of the crowd not being into it. Wonder how that impacted the show and all.

And I agree with you on Berlin.

Yeah, I just managed to 'acquire' RiP first, but I'll likely be listening to RaR later on today. I'm just as curious about the crowd and how it really went down.

  3. Just ban the... neanderthal, and we can all be on our marry way.

I just bought RaR, but am currently listening RiP. I'm on With You at the moment, and so far, this is my favorite DSP of the tour. Everything will probably change once we get a headlining set DSP though. Can't wait for Berlin to drop.

  4. There are definitely two voices rapping which both sound like Mike, and every now and then, Chester chimes in to back up. I'm sorry, but anybody who honestly can't hear this has just had their music knowledge completely voided in my mind... Like seriously, are you deaf?

  5. I was at the Show. Venue was awesome, crowd was great and the band was on fire .

Only thing I missed in this set was APFMH :( burn it down live works very well. I already love it as a live song.

Burn it Down seems to improve quite a bit after each performance. I'm liking it more as time goes on.

This set is awesome, but here's what I would have done:

    01. Tinfoil

    02. Faint

    03. Papercut

    04. With You

    05. Runaway

    06. Given Up

    07. Somewhere I Belong

    08. New Divide

    09. Lies Greed Misery

    10. Points Of Authority

    11. Numb

    12. Waiting For The End

    13. Breaking The Habit

    14. LOATR/SOTD/Iridescent

    15. The Catalyst

    16. What I've Done

    17. In The End

    18. One Step Closer

    -------------------------------

    19. A Place For My Head

    20. Burn It Down

    21. Blackout

    22. Bleed it Out

I wanted to drop Numb, but I know that's not going to happen, so I chose Crawling... Mostly because Crawling pretty much never sounded that great live.

  6. Numb kills the energy between In The End and BIO...

Exactly... Move Numb up to Blackout's spot (or just drop it entirely for something cooler xD) and move Blackout down... The encore should look like this ;)

    19. Burn it Down

    20. Blackout

    21. In The End

    22. Bleed it Out

Obviously I could come up with something better but I'm not trying to completely rape LP's setlist, lol

  7. Blackout, Runaway, and LGM in the same set is like losing my virginity, its a bit awkward but its effing awesome at the same time (at least it was for me)

This is awesome, that means we'll get a DSP of this awesome set and I'm going to see it in THEATRE!!! Blackout and Runaway in THEATRE!! Oooh yeah, this deserves a dance.

  8. I missed most of the show.. I only saw the last 3 songs... bummer.. just got home.

But holy crap, that was the best performance of Papercut I have seen in the longest time... since the first half of the 2000s. Wow, I can't believe the setlist... and the one they played several nights ago too for that matter too. It's a dream come true for me considering how critical I was about the setlists during the Minutes to Midnight world tour and ever since then... Can't believe they lead with APFMH and closed with OSC. Sick stuff indeed. The old school fan in my concurs.

  9. After reading this thread and the others about Living Things.. all I can say is I miss the days when Linkin Park fans used to actually like the music. Used to be excited about an album coming out because well, it was a new album coming out. 37 minutes of more music than we'll have before it. Seriously how many of you actually spend more time bitching about the album and things surrounding it than actually enjoying it after it comes out?

I guess I just miss the days when I could be in an atmosphere where I wouldn't be the odd man out for being excited about new LP without worrying about track times, song titles, how much rapping is on it, and if there will be interludes.

  10. No, it's real.... I've heard it before and was pissed when I couldn't find it not too long ago. I remember it. It was kind of awkward.. It just had Holly sort of speaking Mike's rap. But I know it existed. It was so obscure and random, I should have known it would disappear. I remember, Holly recorded it after feeling shafted when she wasn't contacted to accept the award for ringtone of the year for the song. That was a stupid MTV award, but I remember that it eventually led to Holly leaving Machine Shop... along with many other things.

  11. Some of you do need to realize that SIB wasn't played at all on tour in support of ATS... IT was already dropped, so there is the theory of popular songs not getting dropped flying out the window right there. And W&Ks was dropped mid tour as well and wasn't played again... Geez, this is almost as annoying as hearing "Well, Chester can't sing for more than 90 minutes or his voice will die" Honestly, do you people pull this crap out of your asses?

For real, I can see No More Sorrow getting dropped. It's a boring song that was never a single of any kind. I'd also be shocked to see Papercut survive, seeing as how it almost got dropped back on the MTM tour. From The Inside is in the same boat as Papercut. Almost all of the ATS songs will probably be gone unfortunately, with a few exceptions... Namely the singles. I pray that Given Up will be dropped but I don't think I'm lucky enough for that.

The only sure thing about the next tour is that Numb will be boring me for another year or so on the DSPs.

  12. I absolutely loved ROTW. All the info and the best sources available and everything. Sure, a lot of people weren't commenting, but a lot of people were downloading. Are you looking for gratification from people, or to deliver the best and most interesting content available to the fans of a website about Linkin Park Live, thus continuing to make this the best Linkin Park website on the net. That's what ROTW was for me at least.

Maybe you could make it more interesting by having someone do a review on the show. Stuff like the quality of the recording, the setlist played, how well LP played, how involved the crowd was... stuff like that. People love new content and this website doesn't really have much these days in the way of new original content. Besides the forum and the occasional news post, what reason is there to really come here? Sorry to be blunt on the matter, but this place is kind of stale atm, and it shows with the lack of new long term members Stuff like a spruced up ROTW, some articles, editorials and stuff like that is exactly what this place needs. Thinking out of the box and offering stuff other websites do not always helps, and this place has name recognition to a degree to back it up.

But I went off on a tangent there and really lost my train of thought... Yes, I do want ROTW back however.

  13. Where is PR in the states.

    seconded.

I know there is a ton of countries they still need to visit... but they barely toured the US at all last cycle compared to previous years. They didn't even come close to my town like they usually do so I had to travel 200 miles to a show just to have it cancelled and not rescheduled... >_<

  14. I'm not a Julien-K fan, but supreme LOL at everyone acting so stupid over Julien-K news (big news at that) on an LP forum. And that's directed to both sides of the field actually.

I am however a DBS fan which has its similarities. From everything I've heard, Elias was one of the most approachable and friendly guys in the group when it came to fan interaction. It's always sad to see a core member of band step down (even if temporary) so my condolences go out to Julien-K fans.
