ESPN have stated on their website that they will feature the television premier of Linkin Park's new single "The Catalyst" during their coverage of The X Games 16, which run from July 29th - August 1st in Los Angeles, Calif. This would mean the single will air before it's August 2nd release date in some shape or form.

I just don't understand that you were expected a new song/demo on it.. I know NRL was bonus for MTM on iTunes, but there were only 12 tracks, now we have 15... so it's like 3 bonus songs if we are comparing ATS to MTM lol

Instead of having some live tracks we have serious track with BETTER quality we had.. so I'm good with this choice

Blackbirds as a song sucks. IMO. I don't understand why they would include it as a bonus track for ATS?

WTH? When it was released everybody loved that.. I still think it's a great song... It means a lot to me, so I'm glad it will be out in better quality

we won't get it earlier then radio stations... in central europe it will be sent at 21:00 and worldwide premiere of the single in our radios is 20:30.. so I'm a little disappointed

Yea, that's true. I remember them saying that one song from the sampler had Brad soloing at the end of the song. I'm sure there will be solos on other songs though also.

Sound wise, very little guitar replaced by an up tempo, almost jungle rhythm, urgent synth line and a really strong vocal. First play of new Linkin Park will be on Monday night. it makes sense cause on our local radio (GMT +1) it will have premiere on 20:30 on monday (8:30 PM)

I wonder if on medalofhonor.com/linkinpark will be only a trailer with preview of The Catalyst or full song.. because lots of media source I read is telling premiere of full song
