So, I don't know if anyone will check this thread, but is anyone else having a hard time getting their refund from Topspin? I still haven't gotten it and every time I contact them via e-mail they just regurgitate the same excuse of "we're working on it" and "it's our third party people". I received an e-mail from them on Feb. 21 saying my refund was submitted and to expect it in 3-5 days. Four weeks later I'm still missing $164 and they aren't giving me any straight answers. Just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem? I'm about to lose it with these people!

If the next album has even less Chester than ATS did, I will no longer be an LP fan. Mike is amazing, but it isn't right for him to lead sing on almost every song. What made me fall in love with LP was Chester and his voice. Mike is a great rapper, but a horrible singer IMO.Yeah, Mike can hit the notes. But he makes everything sound too perfect. I like singers that aren't always perfectly on pitch, but have ENERGY. Mike is soooooooooo monotone it's not even funny. Chester brings energy and character. I'm PRAYING for a second DBS album.

i agree with you 100%. i love mike and i appreciate his talents, and i would never deny that he's the major work horse for the band, but you can't have LP without Chester either. bottom line. and i would love to see another DBS album.

chester and mike are basically tied for me, but chester is ahead by a little because while i like mike a lot, i also think he is annoying as fuck. i will always think chester is more talented.

1. Numb- I know, what a surprise! But seriously, The "song" is so whiny and bitchy. (TIRED OF BEING WHAT YOU WANT ME TO BE!!!! I HATE MY LIFE!!! They should named it "The Period Song" instead... jk..?) Anyway, I also hate it because of its unoriginal chord and song structure.

honestly and totally unrelated - i just want a better quality copy of "blackbirds". other than that, i am content with my collection.

pretty sure what chester meant was 'we're looking forward to STARTING on the next album in 2011'.

there's no such thing as a "big deal" about any piece of art - whether it be a painting, photograph, sculpture or song - other than one's own personal opinion of it.

for me the only good songs are "right now" and "slip out the back". i bought the album when it came out, listened to it once and will never ever listen to it again, honestly.

Do any of you know what time you're getting to the venue? I really wanna meet up.

tentatively i'm thinking around 3pm? maybe 2:30pm. i'm guessing the doors will open at 6pm if the show is at 7pm.

the hotel i'm staying at is literally four blocks from the venue. i can't recall the name of it at the moment, but it started with an H. my sister and i are coming up on the Amtrak, we're leaving richmond around 8am and should get to DC around 10:30am.

i can't decide when to get in line at the venue though. :\

I have the feeling it will be complicated to find a time that everyone will agree on

i'm sure we can figure out something. i have a 2.5 hour commute to get there but i don't want to get stuck in rush hour traffic so i'll probably be leaving in the morning. rush hour traffic in richmond is bad... i can't imagine in it DC.

First time pit-goer? Haha, this is me and my brothers first LP concert ever! Haha, and I'd be down! I just don't wanna be back in the pit where all the intense stuff goes down! Haha

this is my 3rd LP show, but i'm bringing my sister and it's her first. so excited for you guys :') we'll try and meet up!

I also want to know how we sign up for the M&G's. If this works out, it'll be my first show as a LPUer, so it would rock if I could get a M&G. I can dream...

same deal for me. i've been a fan for a decade, have been in the LPU for half that time, and have never gotten a chance to get into a M&G.... i really want to make it happen this time!

Quick question, what time do all you other guys plan on showing up there???

the show starts at 7:00pm, i'll probably try and get there between 5:00pm and 6:00pm. these are my first pit tickets and i want to make sure i can get as close as possible so the earlier the better.
