  1. Thank you very much martinez, Soul and Skipees! That are pretty good information and a very helpful thread (thatI didn't manage to find during my initial research ... hmmm ...). Thank you!! And let's hope we get to see some of the production footage of The Hunting Party sometime! Have a great day.
  2. Recently I decided to sort and organize my Linkin Park videos because unfortunately I did not pay much attention to this over the years. I guess I should have a fairly complete collection of both LPTV and LPU videos. So my questions are ... 1. Is there a good source for a sufficient LPTV "chronology"? I want to sort the videos by date as accurate as possible. I did some research in this news forums and others, checked upload dates on YouTube and the LPU website etc. But the dates I found are sometimes not accurate as a lot of the files are re-uploads. Also, the whole research process is very tedious. So I wanted to ask, whether someone of you knows a good source, where I could get a sufficient LPTV chronolgy or history. 2. I didn't notice any Making-of material that deals with The Hunting Party. There were some short clips for the promotion of the album but I did not find anything else comparable to the Making-ofs we got for MTM, ATS, LT etc. I am pretty sure someone asked whether there would be Making-of material for The Hunting Party as there was no special edition announced and there was an (official-ish?) answer that "they recorded everything" (that's what I remember). I guess I read it here on the forum. So *sigh*: Is there any Making-of material about the Hunting Party out there? Or is there an announcement? Thank you very much for your help and please excuse my bad English :-/
  3. THANK YOU, EVERYONE!! As you mentioned it could have something to do with Glorious Excess I finally found it on Mikes blog: http://mikeshinoda.com/2008/06/27/video-section/ So the acutal name of the clip is "Glorious Excess: Sirens and Silence". Unfortunately the video is offline (at least my browsers just show a 404-page when I click on it) - but having the name Google finds other links instantly. I'm happy to be able to see this piece again. Thank you, everyone!! http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5xwtc_gl...on#.UOiJoncw98E //pls close
  4. I need your help for a sec ... I remember a video Mike once posted on his blog. It was shot by himself and was a montage of several short clips documenting the life beeing on tour. It showed some moments with hysterical fans when arriving on the airport and almost dangerous situations with fans trying to get through the security. Just after that the video switched to calm and lonely moments in foreign hotel rooms. There were no explanations or anything else in the video and there was no speaking at all I think. But the video created a interessting feeling. I just remembered it and I tried to find it. I searched Mikes Blog over and over again, went through a lot of search results on google and I looked for any hint in the forum here - but I wasn't successful yet. So if anyone remember this video and maybe has a clue where to find it, I would really appreciate it. Thank you very, very much!!
  5. There were no(t enough) mics for the drumset installed. The setup was not able to catch the cymbals and stuff, so I think at least some part of the drums were playback. That's not unusual for LP to support beats through samples, but there were REAL cymbal sounds that acutally should be delivered by the real set. Unless they didn't use "underheads" (mics are put under the cymbals instead of above - common technique to catch ride cymbals or splashes) the playback muste be more supportive than usual. But it's all live though. Rob played the drums the right way. Maybe the pyro was to expensive to spend some more money for drum mics
  6. I just remembered how D-O-P-E the interlude/demo/cover-wtf aka. "Be yourself" / "In yourself" / "Pictureboard" (whatever?) was. I'm getting lost in the track everytime I hear it... I hope there will be more information on that track someday. I NEED TO KNOW. It's just as artistically amazing as "She couldn't". They both sound like having a little Grey-Daze-twist in it... so paralyzing. BTW: Awesome news post, Hahninator!!!
  7. Amazing, thank you!!
  8. Sounds interesting... is there any source available to check this out??
  9. Thanks!!
  10. Any updates? LPU-Eleven has started and the First 500 should be in the liner notes of the LPU-11 CD right? I don't have my physical copy yet, so I am not able to check it. Does anybody has some new information?
