I just want them to take the necesary time to continue, 1 year or more, but also I want to keep listening songs that Mike will create thinking in High notes or screams. For that reason and for keep the most Single songs on tour, my choice for a new member is still Dan Marsala. Great guy, same age, sing beautiful (in live), scream amazing, and the best of all is that he don't have a unique genre in music. Do a lot of stuff (heavy, soft, rock, punk, etc). He fits with the band.

Idk. This is Chester Bennington we are talking about here. A band who has sold over 80 million albums and won several Grammy Awards.

If they want to continue, and want to keep making amazing and varied songs, They need a new vocalist, that's it.

Will be fans that will accept it, others will accept it with time and others that never will accept. Same circumstances with each Album from the band, People that at this time not accept the sound of OML. This is how it works.

I want that LP remain the great band that it is and continue the legacy that Chester left us.

For me there are 2 options:

• New singer and keep the name Linkin Park

• New singer and change their name.

Is hard, really, for me say it that is really f*cking hard, but I also think in the other 5 guys. If they continue as 5 members, the brain (brad and mike) will have a limit when creating songs. They need someone who can sing high notes and scream.

I'd love to see Dan singing with LP (two of my fav bands together) but SOTY are very underground and they are finishing a new album right now. And Dan is more oriented to punk, his other band, The F*ck off and dies is a standard punk band.

This, I agree that Alex McMillan has a similar voice as Chester, hopefully he will be taken in consideration if it comes to it. I really enjoyed his covers before the account was deleted/removed.

He sings very good but IMO his voice is very shrill :/

 

I see no way Mike can't handle this himself, it's too far into their career to bring in someone new. Mike is majority songwriter already in the band....there are potential top 10 hits and albums still waiting to be made. He can get it done and I'm with it 100%. The dynamic and chemistry just won't be there if they bring someone in. It's a very UNIQUE case where this happens to a band and they have two vocalists that can both SING.

I loved the Album "Mall" and Mike sang beautifull, but The problem with that is that at some point it could be sound monotonous (because his voice has limits). A voice that sing high notes and scream was the perfect complementation with the rap and sing of Mike.

I know is really hard to bring a new member but I prefer that, that they stop being the great band that they are now :c

Ps.: The most of the song that people love (not only fans) about LP are Chester's songs (WID, BTH, Numb, OSC, OML, BID, ND), that's the reality

First of all they (5) need to keep making music together and of course I will support any decision and direction that they will take.
Second, Continuing to make music together, they Need a new singer, ¿why? because although Mike Sing very good right now, a voice like Chester with high notes and scream made LP what it is in these times. That variety of voices is what made LP a different band.

We know that Chester is irreplaceable and is hard thinking about that, But for the sake of the boys and for them to keep making music, I Think that The person that could fit with The band is DAN MARSALA (Story of The year). He sing beautifull and scream very good to this day (in live of course, not only studio). Also, he has a good sense of humor.

The unique thing That I dont Know if they continue with The name LINKIN PARK or change their name like RATM did to Audiosalve for example. My heart want to keep their Name, this would be like a new stage to them.

And holy shit...all these Peru fans are salty as fuck, but I can 100 % understand them. It must be frustrating to see 26k tickets are gone after a few day even if the stadium can hold up to 50.000 people.

At least, we know that we have the chance 100% guaranteed that LP will include us in the next tour

Mike always contradicts himself. Also happened when Ana released her book (Anna’s writing is great, and we both wanted her work to be judged on its merit, not on the book’s potential connection with me or Linkin Park) Then 1 week later he was on radio advertising this book.

I think that's a bit silly when LPU XIII is up for a whole calendar year. Why does it matter when exactly it launches? You can always buy the membership tomorrow, lol.

For me, I think that the images are only that. This is not like LP puzzle, they only put a clue with a random image. That's it.

I've been working for 14 hours, so I'm not gonna get into everything now, but I thought I'd comment.

 

This is not an online only membership. Online content, with the exception of chats, will now be free. There's no point in charging people for online content that only remains exclusive for 5 minutes. The new LPU is all about the experience with the band. We're hoping to offer opportunities like we've never offered before. Regardless of what you think, people don't join lpu for the keychain, the t-shirt, or even the CD. People join for the experience with the band they can't get anywhere else. We want to improve that and stop using our resources to produce packages that never please everyone.

 

I know now this seems a little crazy, but I hope you guys let us prove to you that things really are getting better for you.

 

On another note, the CD download is NOT the LPUX CD.
