He was so aggressive about it; that was pretty cool.

As much as I like the intro when it's played first, I think it does much better with the crowd being last. Besides, it's their first single and one of their most well known songs.

That was a great episode

I would rather see With You, but I don't think Chester could pull it off anymore.

That was an awesome post. Both Astat and Legend make every one of their posts a thread winner lol

Shadow of the Day

Yes, I saw the old topic a while ago, but all the links seem to be dead /:
Source 2: Audio - AUD (Sonic Studios DSM6S/PA6LC3B > Sony TCD-D8)
Taper: Anonymous
Time: 74 mins
Format: lossless
Comments: There are a few moments when the mics hit either the tapers hand or some other object as the sound is briefly muffled (this happens a few times during the show very briefly). Also, the fireworks after the show were recorded.

Wow...read this article. This is how bad Chester used to be with drugs and drinking...it's crazy.
http://lptimes.com/news2008/jan/news01272008.html
''I took everything, he says. I got really, really bad. I was doing a ton of LSD and a lot of drinking. I got really bad, really quickly. On a normal day, my friends and I would go through an eight-ball of speed. We were smoking it in bongs - I was doing bong-hits of meth. It was ridiculous. Then we'd smoke opium to come down, or we'd take pills, or I'd drink so much that I'd shit my pants. It was not pretty''.
The whole article tells a lot more about his childhood too...wow. I never knew how bad his life really was...
That was a great article, thanks for the link. Incredible stuff to read.

Isn't "The Catalyst" clean?
Yes it is.

IMO, WID was a turning point for the band lyrically, not just musically. It basically took part of the message from Somewhere I Belong but the positivity from the band was at an ALL TIME high. Instead of just wanting to heal, it was saying "I WILL HEAL. I WILL FORGIVE MYSELF. TODAY THIS ENDS." And this is the approach that I think the band should stick with.

Maybe you can do a Reanimation election
Although if you do that then leave out [stef], [Riff Raff], and [chali]

Paging Astat.
Edit: that's most definitely a live version. The crowd was probably edited out, and whoever did it, did a pretty good job. But yeah, I'm almost certain it's live
