  1. Hi. I don't know if this should be in audio or video, because I don't know which one actually exists, if either do.

Is there any known performances of the Tasty Snax/ Snax, Grey Daze, Xero, or Hybrid Theory that someone could give me links to download? Again, audio or video, because I don't know which is actually out there. Thanks!

  2. 3 or 4, depending on how you look at it. The HTEP version, the version that was released on the One Step Closer single, Frat Party, and the Hybrid Theory special edition, and the Reanimation version. The live version is similar to the version on the OSC single, but they added more to it (live drums, additional guitar parts, etc.) and the arrangement is a tad different.

I believe the 9-track demo CD is still up on LP:Fuse, but the site isn't working for me right now.

is the one on in the end live and rare a different one, or the same as the OSC one?

  3. The first one is Mark. Second one is not.

Mark is still a great friend of mine. He never worked for Zomba (and BTW, Jeff Blue was never our manager, he worked at Zomba and later Warner Bros.).

Mark works for Velvet Hammer management. He manages System Of A Down, Deftones, Cypress Hill, Alice In Chains, and a few other bands. He's also got a wicked sense of humor.

  6. The answer to the transcript question is yes; after every chat they post the transcript on the LPUMB.

All the wallpapers, buddy icons and screensavers are exclusive to each year, however the ones from LPU3 and LPU4 are on the Enhanced CD's.

The remix2win contests were held by Verizon Wireless. They made a website called http://lpconcerts.com where fans could create their own remixes/mash-ups of songs by artists from Projekt Revolution, though the second competition only featured Linkin Park songs. The contests have since ended, but the website is still up and running.

Projekt Revolution 2002 featured DJ battles as part of the show. A couple of vinyls used in the battles were sold on eBay. LPL hosts a rip if you're interested.

Thank you very much. But what are the Enhanced CDs you mentioned?

  7. I have never joined an LPU before (i'm a late LP bloomer), but I was planning to join LPU9. If I join LPU9, can I see transcripts of chats and download the exclusives and all that good stuff from older years? Or can I only get stuff that gets released during LPU9 year?

    Thanks

    edit: another question:

I have read about a "LPConcerts remix2win competition" What is LPconcerts and what is this competition? Please explain. thanks!

    edit: More question:

I have also read about Project Revolution DJ battles. PLEASE EXPLAIN! :o

  8. In the Meteora album booklet, each member of LP has a little sentence or two about who they want to thank. Interestingly enough, Mike thanks "Mark Wakefield, 007."

Is there something specific he did for Meteora? Or, this at least implies, that they keep in touch. (or did at the time.)

    Thoughts?

  9. Tak is the black guy from FM/SOB. SOB was signed to Machine Shop/Warner Bros. Records thanks to Mike, but WB didn't think they were successful enough... to make a long story short, they let them go. Tak was angry and took it out on Mike. He (Tak) also doesn't talk to the rest of FM/SOB.

Mike is referring to someone from WB. Get Me Gone is really just an intro to High Road, so just listen to those two and you'll understand what he's saying.

Finally, The Battle is just an excuse to put Celph Titled on The Rising Tied (lol). The song itself is Celph Titled during a rap battle; that's why there's audience reactions. I don't know if it's a real rap battle or just a skit, but nonetheless it's pretty short and pointless. It reminds me of the ending to PLC.4 MIE HÆD. There's an extended version released through Celph Titled, at least I think that's how it was released. I never listened to it because I didn't care for it.

    Thank you very much!

  10. I am new to the Fort Minor scene, so excuse me if these are stupid questions.

Umm so I read somewhere on here about a disagreement between mike and tak. first, who is tak and second, what was the problem?

Also, in the song Get Me Gone who is the person mike is referring to who said he shouldn't rap and all that?

Finally, in the song The Battle, what is going on? Because this sounds live. Explain it please!
