  1. It's also, like, everyone on this site is constantly ganging up on me for my opinion and stuff. You're right, I do spend too much time on this site. But I thought having a long break and coming back would change me, it didn't, I'm still the same person. This super long wait for the new music on top of the whole SJW thing from the band members this past year, and the fact that the band is making some Justin Bieber style pop album have really killed it for me.

Have you listened to what anyone said in this thread? How can you know what the album will sound like, have you heard it? You just keep complaining about something that "you don't care about" and you should be called out for it. It's getting really tiresome. I like your passion, but you are all over the place.

  2. It was commissioned by WB Australia, no actual involvement from the band as far as I know. It was originally released on minutestomidnight.com.au (which was the official Australian website for the new album at the time). I seem to remember there being a bit of a viral marketing thing leading up to its release too.

WB's Australian division has been kind of weird about some of LP's promotion stuff in the past. They blocked the release of the DSPs of the '07 Australia/New Zealand shows for years because they were convinced making them available would somehow harm album sales. It wouldn't surprise me if they didn't think the original music video was marketable and decided to make their own.

Very interesting. I can safely tell you, however, that every tv show that played music video's showed the regular What I've Done video - and was extremely popular.

  3. Actually auburntiger is completely right. You can't just expect other people to buy a show (but not contribute yourself) and then complain that no one has bought it yet. Either be patient and wait until someone does, or buy it yourself. Simple.

  4. Small world, that was me that asked for him to play it! I was keen on getting up there and doing it with him. I remember someone asked him to play hands held high one concert and he did so I was hoping that he could do it accapella.

He seemed like a really cool dude! My heart nearly had a heart attack when he said about the fan asking him!

That's awesome! It was pretty cool how Mike stayed and chatted after all the other band memebers had left.
