Wow, great setlist in my opinion. Still not a fan of WID closing the show but here's to hoping they rotate setlists. I say keep all the same ATS songs for now (the others will make their way in eventually) but rotate some oldies in and out. That way they don't have to play the songs I'm sure some of them are sick of playing every night but the fans still get a chance to hear some good classic songs.

Loved this. I think the reason the DVD was the way it was, was to really tell Warner this caused us a whole bunch of shit, get the fuck off our backs. Months and months of footage was compressed into 30 minutes, the band played it how they wanted to, and pretty well I'd say.

While I agree that a good SBD mix should only have fans at the beginning and end of songs, gotta say some AUD recordings rule cause you CAN hear the fans.

I loved it. Anyone else here that little drag Chester does on "all I wanna do is trade this life for something new"? He's done it on "life" at both the performances of the song so far...he always does little things like this, this is the first I've noticed recurring on an ATS song so far though!

PS: I normally don't make these kind of errors or only have Audacity lol...I just switched to Mac for the first time and I'm still finding all the ways to do stuff I used to know on Windows lol.

i love how incredibly offended people are by the implications that Mike lip sync'd. It's a legitimate question to ask, because it's something that could happen especially with mike and all the vocoding needed throughout the album. Sure it appears that he did not lip sync but that wasn't necessarily apparent within the first listen or two. You had to kind of nitpick in order to find the flaws and differences. Lol so get off the genitalia people.

No one was offended, we just pointed out the reasons it wasn't lipsyced. Just like every other speculation type thing that comes up on this site, we nitpick and figure out what's really going on.

I don't see how it even became a 'myth.' It was just kind of really dumb unwarranted speculation with no basis other than 'it sounds the same', despite being in a different key and having different words and being a vocoder'd part which is pretty easy to emulate since the pitch is controlled externally, to be honest.

He's saying he has one mic for the vocoder effect and another mic that he used for New Divide and probably the rest of the set.

Yup I'm saying myth busted. He clearly says "as" and it does seem to be about a half step higher than the album version.

Why not track it in lossless too for us nerds

I'm not sure how to track in FLAC with Audacity which is my only audio editor...do you haha?

It sounds great, but why the hell is it in Mono? Did you record it this way or is that an encoding mistake? The Catalyst is the only song in Stereo!

Well damn. It's an encoding error. I will fix it here in a little bit, I've still got the lossless WAV file in stereo.

Can anyone upload the best quality (original stream) in one single file (unedited) to some FTP or something that won't say "The file you are trying to access is temporarily unavailable." like Megaupload says for me.

I have the full show with commercials in .wav if you'd like that. I dont have an FTP or anything to upload it to though...If you check the other more recent thread I have the full show tracked and tagged, commercials edited out. It's in 320 and everything important is there. Let me know.

Once it hits Installous for jailbroken phones I will get it. No way I'm paying five bucks to tap my fingers to songs I've purchased many many times before.

Okay, I can record, figured it out. Only problem is I won't be able to hear while I'm recording! Maybe there's an iPhone app I can use to listen and just record the audio on my computer?

 

EDIT: Got it all worked out. Recording the audio on my computer and found the CBS Radio app that has KROQ to listen on my phone. Wakeup at 8:40 CST, do a test recording then start the real recording and get back in bed to listen to the show on my iPhone. After the show is complete I will post a complete rip and also just audio of the live songs.
