I don't think most of us are surprised Rob vanished without a word or is hard to get in touch with, even an older interview Chester mentioned that Rob barely checked his phone. I just didn't think he would ever completely cut off contact with the rest of the band, maybe less contact, but not radio silence.
I do wonder how Rob recommended Emily to Mike though, whether if he knew her as a friend or just enjoyed dead sara's music. Either way, I'm glad the rest of the band went for new music as LP and am enjoying new releases. LP's live performances are always a treat.
