Friendly Fire preview of sound so similar I'll be gone.

Does anyone else feel sad listening to resolution? Now that we know it shares instruments with the wizard song it feels kind of empty hearing it without Chester's vocals.

This is literally the song I've been waiting for. They have released so many demos and unreleased songs in the past but none of the songs measure up to this one. It has the classical linkin park vibe to it(Mike's rap and Chester singing/Screaming). Plus the Bridge is the highlight of the song. It adds a whole new dimension to the song. I know a lot of people like that they moved away from this kind of music. But I've always wondered what it would be like if they kept making songs like this. I finally got my wish. I'm hoping rest of the forgotten demos have vocals in them.

Didn't mike mention in an interview that this was an unfinished song and he forgot about it(Forgot about Chester's parts of the song to be more precise)? They most likely were done with the 12 songs that's why the rest of the songs never went past the Demo stage(Excluding lost) hence, they didn't release songs like FM or MTV as opposed to them sounding similar to other songs on the album. Though I will say, FM is a lot better than some of the songs on meteora. Especially, The bridge part is a standout. It adds a whole lot to the song. Unlike most other songs that sound repetitive at times.

I Meant Chester's Part sounded like Figure.09. You are right about HTF for mike's part though.

What I like the most is that background vocal by mike. It adds an extra layer. It's like something from Hybrid theory era that meets Meteora.

I can't stop listening to Fighting Myself. The mixing of this is insane.

I'm Assuming you haven't listened to the song yet. All of mike's rap sounds like a slow paced version that he Raps on faint.

More the victim is cumulus + Mike singing faint in a slower pace. Fighting myself is similar to Figure.09. I can't believe they left Fighting myself Out of the album!
