Totally different genre but look at Take That in the UK. They went from a 5 piece, to 4, then back to 5, then 4, now 3. Still go by Take That.
And also Linkin Park is already an established name in the industry. I think if you ask most people they have at least heard of

Will they change their name? And about Rob I hope he's happy whatever he's doing. As much as I confess that I would like to see him after so many years

Reading these old comments gives me a pain in my heart. I so wish our concern was which song they should play again

APFMH has a great message.
LP lyrics were perfect, they were delivered in the perfect moment, perfect generation.
without those lyrics we wouldnt be talking about the band right now.
With OML generic lyrics Chester would still be working at Burger King right now.
Chester was a very talented guy, I think he would get fame one way or another, maybe not as much as LP but he would

Would it be crazy to think they could release "And One 2000 Demo"? I mean, this song has been long overdue for a release, and Jeff Blue has confirmed its existence

Hey! New here, and I realize this is an old topic, but that's my upload of those remixed tracks! I'm glad my YouTube channel "Ryan Jordan" can spread those versions of the Grey Daze songs even if I prefer the original mixes (and that the band hasn't tried getting them taken down yet, haha).
One other thing I noticed about the remixed version of B12 released as "B12_demo.1997.aiff" released onto streaming and the Japanese CD for The Phoenix is entirely lossy, and looks like it was pulled from the leak itself when I compare them with spectogram, not touched up or anything. So I'm wondering if the band themselves even has a master copy of that version anymore or if the leaked MP3s are all they have.First picture from original leak, second is a FLAC file I purchased from Qobuz.
Similarly, although I don't know how this would even happen, the hidden track version of The Down Syndrome released onto Amends Stripped is also lossy sourced, despite easily being able to pull from an original CD copy. That one just seems lazy to me. I'm a really big fan of Grey Daze but things like these are just confusing to me. I pre-ordered the Wake Me & No Sun Today reissues and I'll be sure to look at those files too.
(If I'm extremely late to finding this out please let me know or redirect me to a better spot for it. I love GD but it's very difficult to find places to talk about them outside of their official Discord)Is there any chance this version of the album will ever surface?

This is amazing! Are these 2007 the Uncut versions shared on LPCatalog back in ‘15?
Btw, I like how the band kept everything in this Meteora release up until the end of 2004. 2005-2008 is Minutes to Midnight era to me. According to an interview with Brad on ultimateguitar, he said the band started working on Minutes in November of 2005 at the Korn studio. Mike probably even made some demos before that. And remember Chester’s LPU chat in December of 2005 saying he was recording tons of screaming for the new album with Mike and that he couldn’t even talk the next day because of all the screaming he did? This is also when he said the album will be heavy and that’s partially why fans expected it to be heavy back then, they then debuted QWERTY and furthered the idea. Lol. But anyways yeah 2005 to me is definitely early Minutes era even though they didn’t release the album until 2007. If you want to be technical it was more Fort Minor and Dead By Sunrise era but it falls into Minutes To Midnight for me, 2006 even more so, and I’m glad Summer Sonic wasn’t released on this Meteora release because I bet the band will give us that show on Minutes 20, Mike knows how much the fans love the show and QWERTY, he even recently said QWERTY was Minutes era when a fan asked about it. Just like with Brazil 2004, Mike said at the Woodlands 2008 show that it was the end of the Minutes cycle with that show and I just read an interview with Phoenix from November of 2008 saying the Minutes cycle ended in September of 2008 (he probably thinks this is when Woodlands 2008 was since it was like a week before September) and that they have no shows booked on the horizon. Wasn’t until 2009 that they booked some shows and then did New Divide, while working on ATS. The 2008 ATS demos weren’t even really ATS demos because the band said all the music during that time was for a video game idea in which a person tries to escape a mental hospital and the idea fizzled out. Not to mention Blanka and Malathion were done even prior to PR08, I feel like those were just demos Mike was messing around on gear with and special studios if you read the interview from when he made those. Just my two cents.
ok, I think MTM has more demos than we think

Pain!!! It's weird to think in 2002 there was supposed to be a reunion but Chester couldn't make it, if I recall correctly then in 2017 there was supposed to be a reunion but sadly Chester passed away, tragic. If only things were different.
I always think that, maybe in an alternate universe things would have been different

We could literally have another record after this one coming.
yes, they could include one of these songs right now, to complete the 11 track tracklist. I wish "Commit" was already on this next album

I have converted the original XERO audition tape in GREAT quality. I took the song down from Soundcloud out of respect to the release. Siri now recognizes a song on the demo I have had for 20 years ( Pictureboard )... the others are clear to post, I assume. I have the video they requested for the audition process (at least one band member has confirmed they went through the same process per Mark T) The audio tape is in perfect condition and plays well, the handwriting of "Xero" is most certainly Mike's. I have versions of the tunes when the rapping was the focus of the tune and the singing was the refrain or hook only..... I have my tracking vocals with the audition tape, as well as my demo that got me a Next Day Air Fedex package from Jeff Blue, with lyrics, this demo and the other studio tracks partially finished along with Mike's 4-track ideas
I was going to do a full interview with Mark Terrell ( the admin / founder of this page) but he stopped responding to texts after a preliminary interview, during the week of the the 20yr release ( not sure why? ) I never attempted to leak or detract from any of these tracks, I had NO idea that there was so much interest around this tune..... The original XERO tape was in a case, in my closet for years, the song on Soundcloud was there to substantiate a one-off crazy story .....There is a good story here if you are interested as fans and the true history of something you may not be aware of...... TJ
I would love for you to post it somewhere out there
