Again, he's not a pro... it won't happen.. also we don't know if he can scream.... i believe that he can only do soft songs.
Ok true, you have the point

What about DPARK ? He sounds and looks a lot like Chester. Dunno

EDIT 2: Oh, and I also have a small "EP" of sorts with just some random tracks that don't belong to any particular studio album. (Not Alone, Issho Ni, Now I See, Plaster, and alternate mixes for Blackout and The Catalyst)
OH SHIT SIR, YOU ARE THE LP BIBLE (capitals put on purpose) but where is OML ?

I think it's kind of cheesy honestly. Most of the hologram performances happened because there was no new era coming.
Tupac and MJ were solo artists. Their hologram performances are basically a novelty thing. Ronnie James Dio has a hologram because the band IS Dio and the band is older now. They're a legacy act.
LP has always been more than just Chester and more than just Mike. Also, the members of LP are relatively young. 40 is not old and the band has said repeatedly that they don't want to become a novelty/legacy act. I think the band would rather try and find a creative way to move on while still honoring Chester rather than touring and using a hologram and playback to try and still stay the same.
This is going to sound corny, but that would be the band "holding on to what they haven't got", so to speak...
Super quote this, it s hard to say but at this point they have to honour and mourn him for the legend he was BUT somewhere in time they ll have to move on as a band if they want to continue. I think they ll always honour Chester in some ways on stage, but continuing with the hologram thing would just be painful and stale as time goes on. In some years I WANT to see new music from the band and be excited about it. It ll never be the same but LP is and was 6 people making the music they love, Chester was absolutely crucial for them but the other 5 are creatively really powerful and I have faith they ll come up with great stuff

https://youtu.be/fpgYEDKgu-UHave you seen this ?
-
I don t know if we ll get a big tour again but saying they are shaping up the future of the band IMO means that someway and somehow we will still hear from LP in years to come. I strongly doubt that we ll have touring/albums in less than 3/4 years at least.
-
Great news, I ll support ANY decision they make 100 percent
-
Just give me everything with Chaz on vocals, please
-
It s a month and feels like a year, there s a huge hole in our hearts that can t be filled. Chester got me into rock music 10 years ago and tought me you can overcome pain and desease being brave enough to speak openly about it. Thank you Chaz

To Geki, I fucking love HT and Meteora LOL 😃
-
So You don t have to be talented to pull off Sharp Edges or One More Light but you have to be really talented to pull of, say, Don t Stay? Ewww Sir I respect your point but well, ATS is a lot more skillful and complex than Meteora man
-
I m in for Jamie as lead singer. It d be nice to carry on Chaz s legacy
-
Yeah 100% agree on this.
-
Cool I hope so
-
Scared this could be a goodbye 😢😢😢
-
I had the feeling that Chester, except for few tracks like War, Halfway Right and Heavy, wasn't too much into the writing process of THP (for Mike s own admission) and OML. He just sang ( really good, clearly, I fucking love Chaz) the parts M&B wrote for him
-
I honestly don't see why, in that amount of certain, they need a new singer. Hell, they are five talented guys. Plus, Mike is a genius. They could put out something very easily, making the crowd sing some of the well-known Chester's parts (In The End, Faint, hell... even One Step Closer could work out).
There's a future for the band. For Linkin Park. Let them take whatever time they think it is necessary to clear up their minds as much as possible and, when the time comes, I'm sure the fanbase will be there supporting the decision they take.
You have a big point here, the band is talented enough to pull of a nice show as a 5 piece. Ok, Mike can t sing OSC, GATS or Given Up as an example but he can adjust songs as he already did. Remember the mashups in the solo medleys, the intro ( who the hell other than Mike could think about a mix of RU and Fallout?) and stuff like that. Chester passed away but LP in some form is not dead.
-
I hope Mike will find the energy to carry on his ideas, he s so fucking talented. I have faith he will come out with s/thing great In years to come
-
-
Imagine their first show after Chester s death : Mike begins singing OML while Images of Chester begin running on screen. Then the whole band comes out and the hug Each other
-
Yeah, obviously DBS won't go on without Chester, it was already a dead project basically as it was, anyways. But there may be people who still want to discuss the band's music, maybe newer fans who haven't heard all the DBS stuff.
True, this Could help keeping Chester s memory alive

I think this thread should be closed, sadly ;(;(;(

I think the band will surprise us all with their choice, as they always did in the past with a lot of things
for now i think they ll stay a 5 piece for a while
